About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to literally help build the world around you? As a Construction Worker with our close-knit team, you’ll do just that—from laying the groundwork (sometimes literally) to ensuring everything comes together smoothly on site. If you enjoy working with your hands, being outdoors, and seeing the real impact of your labor, this opportunity might be just what you’re looking for.
About the Company
We’re a locally rooted contracting company that takes pride in turning blueprints into reality—no matter how big or small the project. Our crews are known not just for hard work, but for looking out for each other, whether it’s over a shared thermos of coffee or a quick after-hours barbecue. Here, everyone pitches in, learns on the job, and celebrates the wins—big foundations, early finishes, or just a job well done. We’re growing steadily, but we haven’t lost that “everyone knows your name” feeling.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working on new builds, renovations, and general construction activities as assigned by site supervisors.
- Hauling materials, assisting skilled trades, or running basic equipment—you’ll get a little bit of everything, keeping each day interesting.
- Following instructions carefully and safely as you help keep the worksite organized.
- Supporting your teammates—sometimes that means handing over a tool, other times it means lending an extra hand with heavy lifting.
- Proactively identifying issues or hazards and reporting them (we look out for safety, always).
- Tackling unexpected tasks as they come up—sometimes things change quickly on site, and flexibility is key.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in construction or a related contracting field (that’s the most important thing for us).
- Solid work ethic, discipline, and a real commitment to seeing things through—our team relies on each other day in, day out.
- Ability to work collaboratively with people from all backgrounds and skill levels.
- A steady hand under pressure—busy days are normal, and schedules can shift.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and take direction (if you’re curious and adaptable, you’ll fit right in!).
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary with room for increases based on performance—no empty promises here.
- Overtime opportunities for those willing to go the extra mile.
- Supportive team culture; people look out for each other, plain and simple.
- Real hands-on training and chances to develop new skills (and maybe specialize down the road).
- Work gear provided—we’ve got you covered.
- Most of our projects are local, so you’ll sleep in your own bed at night.
- Coffee breaks are sacred, and barbecues pop up more often than you’d think.
If you want a place where your hard work is noticed and your team’s got your back, this is it. There’s plenty of work to go around—and together, we get it done.
