About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Build Something That Lasts — Literally

Dubai doesn't slow down, and neither does the skyline rising out of it. If you've ever looked at a tower, a mall, or a metro line and thought, I could build that, this is your opening. We're putting together a full construction crew — masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and general helpers — for active projects across the emirate. Whether you're a fresher ready to learn the trade or a seasoned hand with a decade of sites behind you, there's a spot on this team with your name on it.

Who We Are

We're a Dubai-based contracting outfit that's grown the old-fashioned way: good work, delivered on time, with a crew that actually sticks around. No revolving-door staffing, no "figure it out yourself" culture. Our site supervisors came up through the ranks — several started as helpers themselves — so they know exactly what a hard day on the tools feels like, because they've lived it.

Walk onto one of our sites and you'll notice the same faces week after week. That's not an accident. We invest in our people, we pay on schedule, and we treat everyone — from the newest helper to the senior electrician — like the professionals they are.

What You'll Be Doing

  • General helpers: Moving materials, mixing, cleaning up, and supporting the skilled trades — the backbone of any smooth-running site.
  • Masons: Laying block and brick, plastering, and finishing to spec — the kind of work that speaks for itself years later.
  • Carpenters: Formwork, framing, and finishing carpentry, reading drawings and cutting to fit.
  • Electricians: Running conduit, wiring, installing fixtures, and testing — safely, and to code.
  • Plumbers: Pipefitting, drainage, fixture installation, and pressure testing across residential and commercial builds.
  • Everyone: Following safety protocols (no shortcuts, ever), keeping your area tidy, and pitching in when the team needs a hand.

What You'll Bring

Must-haves:

  • Physical fitness and a genuine willingness to work outdoors in Dubai's climate
  • Reliability — showing up on time, every day, ready to work
  • Basic ability to follow instructions and communicate with your supervisor
  • A valid passport and readiness to relocate

Nice-to-haves:

  • Trade certification or prior Gulf experience (a plus, not a dealbreaker)
  • Ability to read basic technical drawings
  • A valid UAE driving licence

Freshers, don't scroll past this. We train. We mentor. Some of our best supervisors walked in with zero experience and a good attitude. Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Salary: AED 1,500–2,500+ per month, depending on your role and experience — reviewed as you grow
  • Accommodation provided — clean, shared housing so you're not hunting for a place on day one
  • Transportation to and from site — no commuting headaches
  • Medical insurance covered
  • Visa support handled end to end
  • Paid leave and overtime opportunities when projects ramp up
  • Real progression — helpers become masons, masons become foremen

Look, construction is hard work. We won't pretend otherwise. But it's also steady work, with a team that has your back, in a city that's always building. If that sounds like you, we're ready when you are.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Walk us through a typical day on site for you. What tools are in your hands most of the time, and what tasks do you handle without needing to be told twice?
  • For the electricians and plumbers in the room: how do you approach testing and commissioning after installation? What does "done properly" look like before you sign off on your own work?
  • Describe a time you spotted a safety hazard before it became an incident. What did you do, and what happened as a result?
  • Our masons and carpenters work from drawings and specs. How comfortable are you reading technical drawings, and can you give an example of a job where the drawing saved you from a costly mistake?
  • Tell me about a time a supervisor gave you instructions that didn't quite add up. How did you handle it — did you push back, ask questions, or just get on with it?
  • Dubai's heat is no joke. How do you manage your energy and stay sharp through a full shift outdoors, especially during the summer months?
  • We run mixed crews — helpers, trades, and supervisors all on the same site. How do you handle it when a helper is struggling or a teammate isn't pulling their weight?
  • Have you ever had to redo work because of a mistake — yours or someone else's? Walk me through what happened and how you dealt with it.
  • What's the longest you've stayed with one employer or one project, and what kept you there? We're proud of our low turnover, so we're curious what makes you stick around.
  • Freshers, this one's for you: what made you want to get into construction, and how do you plan to learn the trade once you're on site?
  • Imagine it's 4pm, you're tired, and your supervisor asks you to stay late to finish a pour. What goes through your head, and what do you say?
  • We work alongside people from all over the world

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

This salary range reflects typical starting compensation for general construction roles in the UAE, particularly for positions that include accommodation, transportation, and visa support as part of the package. For freshers and helpers, AED 1,500–2,500 per month is a common entry point, with skilled trades like electricians and masons often landing at the higher end based on experience. The real value here lies in the full support structure — provided housing, medical insurance, and clear pathways to promotion — which makes this a solid opportunity to build a long-term career while keeping living costs manageable.
