What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on the role you join, your days might look something like this:
- Safety Officer:
- Conduct daily safety inspections and spot hazards before they become problems
- Train workers on best safety practices and emergency procedures
- Keep accurate safety logs and incident records
- Support site managers to ensure compliance with legal safety standards
- Scaffolder:
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding on various building projects
- Inspect structures for stability and report any issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safe working conditions
- Maintain all scaffolding tools and materials
- Plumber:
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water, drainage, and gas
- Diagnose problems and suggest effective fixes
- Read blueprints and building plans for job layout
- Work alongside electricians and masons as needed
- Welder:
- Weld and fabricate steel structures per specifications
- Inspect completed welds for strength and safety
- Maintain tools and a clean, organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures strictly
- Mason:
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stones on new structures and renovations
- Mix mortar, shape materials, and handle finishing details
- Work closely with site supervisors for timely completion
- Maintain high quality standards at all times
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Relevant experience in your trade (even if it’s not strictly in Dubai—skills travel!)
- Currently inside the UAE and ready to start work soon
- Willingness to work as part of a diverse, hard-working team
- Strong work ethic and reliability—you show up, you deliver
- Basic understanding of safety rules (especially for site jobs)
- For Safety Officers: Valid NEBOSH/IOSH certificate or equivalent
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous experience on major construction sites in the GCC
- Conversational English, Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu
- Positive attitude and a knack for keeping morale high
