About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever thought about how your knack for building relationships could power the growth of a leading outdoor brand? As a CRM Specialist with Alhor Camping & Hunting Tools, you’ll do just that—bring our customer interactions to life while working remotely from the comfort of your own space. We’re looking for a UAE-born woman (bonus points if you have Yemeni roots!) who gets the local market, understands our adventurous customer base, and is ready to turn digital touchpoints into memorable connections.

About Alhor Camping & Hunting Tools

When it comes to exploring the great outdoors, we believe in kitting out enthusiasts with tools they can trust—because a good adventure starts with great gear. Based in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, Alhor has carved out a loyal following by taking customer service as seriously as survival skills. Our crew is small but mighty, and we swap weekend campfire stories as often as we swap tips on the latest CRM strategies. Around here, we value honesty, quick thinking, and that rare ability to laugh when a plan (or a tent pole) doesn’t quite go the way you expected.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our online customer community—answering questions, resolving issues, and providing post-purchase support that feels personal, not robotic.
  • Analyze customer data and sales patterns from our CRM system, then report your findings in clear, action-oriented summaries.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our marketing team to craft targeted messages, email campaigns, and customer engagement strategies that truly resonate.
  • Spot opportunities for process improvement within the CRM platform—think automations, smarter tagging, or workflow tweaks.
  • Gather feedback and ideas from customers, funneling insights back to our product and sales teams to shape future offerings.
  • Occasionally hop on team calls (camera-on, coffee in hand) to brainstorm new ways to make our customers’ experience even better.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Female candidate born in the UAE (Yemeni heritage preferred)
  • Solid experience with CRM systems (any platform—show us you know your way around the tools)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both Arabic and English
  • Self-driven work ethic with the time-management skills to thrive remotely
  • Empathy, patience, and a dash of creativity when interacting with customers

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with e-commerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer sales
  • Previous experience supporting an outdoor or lifestyle brand
  • An interest in camping, hunting, or outdoor adventures (we love swapping stories!)

Not sure you tick every box? Let’s chat—your unique skills and perspective might be exactly what we need.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • 100% remote—work from your favorite spot, no commute required
  • Flexible hours so you can balance life, family, and a love for the outdoors
  • Supportive, tight-knit team that values your voice and celebrates wins together
  • Opportunities to influence how we connect with our most loyal customers
  • Occasional team meet-ups in Abu Dhabi (because sometimes it’s nice to say hello in person)

We may be small, but we punch above our weight—and your ideas will make a real, visible impact. If you’ve been searching for a role that blends digital savvy with genuine human connection, you just might have found your new work home.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Tell us about a time you used a CRM system to deepen customer relationships or resolve a tricky customer issue—what tools and strategies did you use?
  • How would you approach analyzing our customer data to uncover actionable insights that could improve engagement or retention?
  • Can you walk us through your process for designing a targeted email campaign for outdoor enthusiasts in the UAE?
  • Have you ever spotted a pain point in a CRM workflow? Describe how you made improvements or suggested changes.
  • How do you balance efficiency with adding a personal, human touch in digital customer support, especially when managing a high volume of interactions?
  • If a customer reached out with negative feedback about our products or service, how would you handle the situation to ensure their concerns are heard and addressed?
  • Give an example of a time you collaborated remotely with a marketing or sales team. What tools did you use, and what made the project successful (or not)?
  • Imagine we’re launching a new camping gear collection—how would you gather and use customer feedback to help shape our marketing or sales approach?
  • Our team sometimes brainstorms on video calls with plenty of laughter and out-of-the-box ideas. How do you contribute to a collaborative and creative remote environment?
  • What excites you most about supporting a community of adventure-seekers and outdoor fans?
  • Alhor values quick thinking and adaptability—can you describe a situation when you had to adjust your plan or communication style on the fly?
  • As a UAE-born woman (with possible Yemeni heritage), how would your background help you connect with and understand our local customer base?
  • Working from home requires self-motivation and discipline. What systems or routines do you use to stay productive and maintain strong communication with your team?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a remote CRM Specialist role in the UAE’s retail/outdoor industry, you should expect a monthly salary in the range of 5,000–8,000 AED, depending on your experience and familiarity with CRM systems and e-commerce. Since this is a specialized customer engagement position requiring bilingual communication skills and local market understanding, don’t hesitate to negotiate within this bracket, especially if you bring extra experience with outdoor brands or strong digital marketing abilities.
