What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing the day-to-day control of all project documentation, ensuring everything is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to retrieve
- Managing technical drawings and construction documents — from reviews to revisions — coordinating closely with engineers, architects, and site teams
- Implementing and maintaining file organization systems (both digital and paper-based) for seamless document retrieval
- Tracking document revisions and approvals, making sure no update goes unnoticed or unlogged
- Preparing transmittals, reports, and submissions in a timely manner using MS Office tools
- Enforcing document workflow protocols so project paperwork moves efficiently through all the right channels
- Responding promptly to requests for information and providing support to project managers and field staff
- Staying alert for inconsistencies or missing information in files, flagging and resolving them quickly
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Experience as a Document Controller — ideally with a background in Gulf-region construction projects
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook — you know your way around a spreadsheet)
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail (if your idea of fun is color-coding folders, you’ll fit right in)
- Comfort working to tight deadlines and juggling multiple requests without breaking a sweat
- Familiarity with technical drawings, file numbering/file naming conventions, and construction document workflows
- Immediate availability to join the team
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledge of EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) software
- Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic
- Previous experience supporting both on-site and remote project teams
