About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Join Us as a Document Control Secretary (Female)

Ever found yourself the person who can spot a missing file from a mile away, and secretly enjoy keeping things organized? If so, you might be just who we're looking for at our thriving MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) company in Dubai. We’re seeking a Document Control Secretary (female) who truly understands the art (and necessity) of order amidst a sea of blueprints, permits, and emails. If you enjoy a behind-the-scenes role that keeps the wheels turning smoothly — and have a knack for English communication and computer skills — keep reading.

About Our Company

Based in the heart of Dubai’s buzzing skyline, we’re the team behind some of the most ambitious engineering projects in the region. While we take our work—and safety—seriously, we’re equally proud of our genial office atmosphere, spontaneous lunch outings, and the way everyone pitches in during a tight deadline. At our company, you’ll find leadership that listens and colleagues who genuinely want to see you thrive. Fridays? We love a good team coffee and a recap (and sometimes a little friendly banter about the week’s biggest wins).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining, organizing, and updating project documents, drawings, and correspondence—digitally and physically.
  • Handling all incoming and outgoing project emails quickly and with proper formatting.
  • Supporting the team with document submission on various portals and to key project stakeholders.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for document control queries from engineers, supervisors, and clients.
  • Keeping sensitive information confidential and up-to-date — because accuracy matters in every project!
  • Assisting with general administrative duties, from arranging meetings to creating reports, as needed.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in document control or as a secretary (preferably in construction or MEP).
  • Professional-level English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Comfort and confidence with computer tasks, including MS Office Suite and email communication.
  • Strong attention to detail—you don’t let things slip through the cracks.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with construction management software or ERP systems.
  • Prior work in the Dubai market or familiarity with local documentation standards.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary with room for growth as our company expands.
  • Supportive team environment—where asking questions and learning is encouraged.
  • Convenient office location in Dubai, close to public transportation.
  • Regular team events (think lunches, celebrations, and yes, the occasional cake).
  • Flexible policies for work-life balance — we know family and wellness come first.

Everyone here plays an important role, and attention to detail gets noticed and rewarded! If you’re looking for an opportunity to do meaningful work in a dynamic industry, we’d be excited to welcome you.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a Document Control Secretary with 3+ years of experience in the construction or MEP sector in Dubai, you should expect a salary in the range of 5,000 to 7,000 AED per month. Similar roles in established engineering firms often offer salaries within this range, especially if you have strong English skills and good command of MS Office and document management processes. If you bring experience with construction software or have prior Dubai market exposure, you may be able to negotiate towards the higher end of this bracket.
