What You’ll Be Doing
- Crafting outstanding coffee beverages—from perfect espresso shots to artfully poured lattes and cappuccinos
- Calibrating espresso machines and grinders to ensure each cup meets our high standards
- Brewing filter coffees and teas, maintaining consistency each time
- Creating a minimum of four types of latte art—don’t worry, the team loves to swap tips
- Experimenting and preparing other popular drinks, like milkshakes and cool summer specials
- Engaging with customers in a friendly, approachable way—the regulars should know you by name!
- Keeping your workspace tidy and organized, even during the morning rush
- Supporting team members in daily café operations, from opening to closing
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a barista role with hands-on skills
- Deep knowledge of coffee calibration and passion for getting that perfect shot
- Confident in brewing methods and familiar with maintaining equipment
- Ability to create at least four distinct latte arts (hearts, tulips, swans, rosettas—you get the idea!)
- Some experience making other drinks—milkshakes, smoothies, maybe even a matcha latte
- Open-minded personality—tomboy, feminine, or anything in between, just be you!
- Willingness and eligibility to work in Abu Dhabi, MBZ City
Nice-to-Haves:
- Conversational English or Arabic—enough to chat easily with customers
- Previous experience with POS systems in a café setting
