What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily site operations for fit-out and finishing works, ensuring progress is smooth and up to Silver Gate standards.
- Coordinating between design, procurement, and construction teams to keep projects running efficiently (and always with an eye on quality).
- Liaising with local suppliers and sub-contractors, negotiating prices and delivery schedules to keep everything on track.
- Ensuring strict adherence to Abu Dhabi authority procedures and approvals, so surprises are minimal and compliance is maximum.
- Reviewing project specifications and providing on-site technical guidance to resolve hiccups—big or small—as they arise.
- Carrying out regular site inspections, identifying potential snags, and addressing them proactively (because no one likes last-minute surprises).
- Preparing and maintaining site reports, progress updates, and material logs with accuracy and attention to detail.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in fit-out and finishing works in the Abu Dhabi market.
- Solid understanding of local construction materials, suppliers, market prices, and authority clearance procedures.
- Proven track record coordinating teams and communicating effectively across different project stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt on the fly when things don’t go as planned.
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities while keeping a cool head on site.
Nice-to-Haves
- Engineering degree (civil, architectural, or equivalent).
