About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ready to turn your passion for petals into a thriving career from the comfort of home? We’re looking for a full-time Florist to join our cozy, home-based flower business based in Abu Dhabi’s Shakhbout City. If you find joy in crafting unique floral arrangements and want to help brighten people’s days with your creativity, this could be the perfect opportunity to let your talent bloom—without ever stepping into a traditional shop.

About Us

We’re a small but spirited home business with a big love for flowers—and for making people smile. Our story started at the kitchen table, arranging bouquets for friends, and quickly grew into a tight-knit team serving our community with custom creations. Here, every day is a little different: sometimes it’s prepping for a wedding, sometimes it’s wrapping up a single cheerful bouquet for a birthday surprise. We care about quality, enjoy experimenting with new designs, and believe that work should feel a bit like family—yes, even on those busy Valentine’s mornings.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing fresh, creative floral arrangements for a variety of occasions—birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, or “just because”
  • Handling and conditioning flowers to ensure they look their best and last longer
  • Managing daily orders and coordinating with customers for special requests or deliveries
  • Sourcing and restocking flowers and supplies (we love a well-organized workspace!)
  • Maintaining a clean, inviting work area at home
  • Brainstorming new arrangement ideas and seasonal offerings with the team
  • Assisting with occasional photo shoots for our social media (don’t worry—no modeling required)
  • Keeping simple records of inventory and sales

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Previous experience as a florist or in floral arrangement (even if it’s self-taught!)
  • Artistic flair and a keen eye for color, texture, and design
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time well—especially under tight deadlines
  • Friendly communication skills for chatting with customers and team members
  • A genuine love of flowers and what they represent

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with weddings or large event floral work
  • Basic photography or social media skills
  • Familiarity with flower varieties common to Abu Dhabi’s climate

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Flexible, home-based work environment—no daily commutes, just fresh coffee and fresh flowers
  • Salary of AED 2,000–2,500/month (depending on your experience)
  • Opportunities to experiment and grow your creative skills—we encourage new ideas!
  • Be part of a supportive, friendly team that values your input (and celebrates every birthday with cake)
  • Seasonal staff gifts, and the occasional bunch of “leftover” blooms to take home
  • Room to shape your role as our business grows

We know that work should feel meaningful—and maybe even a little fun. If you’re ready to bring your floral artistry to a place where your creativity is celebrated, we can’t wait to meet you.
