About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Do you have a flair for color and a love for lifting people’s moods with the perfect bouquet? We’re looking for a Female Flower Sales Assistant & Customer Service Representative to join us in Khalifa City. Imagine spending your days surrounded by fresh blooms and happy customers, where each arrangement tells a story and every interaction brightens someone’s day. If you’re ready to combine your passion for flowers with your natural people skills, this could be the fresh start you’ve been waiting for.
About the Company
We’re more than a flower shop—we’re a small but lively team that believes in the art of thoughtful gifting. Our Khalifa City store has become a local favorite, a place where smiles blossom as often as our hydrangeas do. We take real pride in making each customer feel special, whether it’s their first visit or their fiftieth. Our space is usually filled with laughter, the heady scent of blooms, and a soft playlist in the background (we have a team debate about the “best bouquet soundtrack,” in case you have strong opinions). Fridays, we often celebrate a week’s good work with complimentary pastries from the bakery next door.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating and arranging flowers and bouquets with creativity, care, and an eye for detail—no two orders are exactly alike!
- Greeting every customer warmly, offering guidance as they choose flowers for birthdays, anniversaries, thank-yous, or “just because” moments.
- Managing orders smoothly, whether they arrive in person, over the phone, or ping in via WhatsApp.
- Engaging customers to understand the story or sentiment behind their purchase, and suggesting the perfect floral combinations.
- Making sure the display area is tidy and attractive throughout the day, from the shopfront to the counter.
- Following up with customers post-purchase when needed, ensuring satisfaction and building our community of regulars.
- Pitching in as needed—watering plants, restocking supplies, or brainstorming new display ideas with the team.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Warm, approachable personality with the confidence to engage with customers from all walks of life.
- A true interest in flowers/design; even if you aren’t an expert arranger (yet), you’re eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills—you’re just as comfortable on WhatsApp as face-to-face.
- Attention to detail, especially in crafting arrangements and handling orders.
- Ability to multitask in a lively, occasionally fast-paced environment.
- Basic English skills (Arabic a plus).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, floristry, or customer service.
- Familiarity with different types of flowers and greens.
- Creative flair—maybe you’ve dabbled in crafts, design, or DIY projects.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Team of friendly, passionate people who support each other.
- Training on floral arrangement—we love to teach and share new ideas.
- Staff discounts on flowers (your home might never be without fresh blooms again!).
- Flexible scheduling and a supportive manager who listens.
- Opportunities for career growth as we expand our services and creative offerings.
- A genuinely upbeat, welcoming atmosphere—because happy teams make beautiful bouquets.
If you’re looking for a workplace where creativity matters and every day brings the chance to make someone’s day a little brighter, you’ll fit right in with us.
