About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever feel energized by meeting new people and keeping things humming along with a smile? If greeting clients and making their day a little brighter sounds like your kind of gig, we’d love to meet you. We’re seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our brand-new wellness studio in Al Raha, Abu Dhabi—a chance to be one of the first friendly faces our members get to know. This isn’t just a “hello and goodbye” job; it’s about creating the warm, welcoming vibe our studio is known for.
About the Company
We’re a tight-knit team launching a boutique wellness studio with a big mission: to help our community feel better inside and out. Our founders are passionate about movement, healthy living, and fostering genuine connections—think equal parts motivation and mindfulness. At our core, we value positive energy, team spirit, and a little fun (impromptu smoothie tastings and post-class playlists come with the territory). Everyone has a voice here, whether you’re on the mat or manning the front desk.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting members and first-timers with warmth and enthusiasm—the kind of welcome that turns a Monday around.
- Handling check-ins, class bookings, and membership renewals using our digital system.
- Confidently sharing membership options and upselling classes or studio packages (no pushy scripts—just real conversations).
- Troubleshooting minor scheduling or tech hiccups so everything runs seamlessly.
- Keeping the front area tidy and inviting—think fresh-scented, clutter-free, ready for anything.
- Supporting the team with light admin, restocking, or prepping for special events.
- Occasionally opening up bright and early or helping to close out in the evenings (shifts rotate between 5 AM and 9 PM).
What You’ll Bring
- Experience at the front desk of a gym, fitness studio, spa, or wellness center.
- Confident communication—whether you’re explaining class formats or comparing membership perks.
- Friendly, approachable vibe with a calm head for multitasking and prioritizing.
- Comfortable using booking or point-of-sale software (we’ll show you the ropes of our system).
- Reliable and organized, even when mornings get a little busy.
- A passion for wellness, fitness, or building a positive community.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Be part of a new studio with lots of excitement and energy (your input will help shape our routines and culture).
- Supportive team who cheers each other on, from first-day jitters to Friday wind-downs.
- Flexible shift patterns—so you can fit work around your life, not the other way around.
- Discounts on classes and access to wellness perks (think class passes, retail discounts, and team events).
- Modern, inviting workspace in the heart of Al Raha, Abu Dhabi.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping others feel welcome—if you light up a room just by being yourself, you’ll fit right in here.
