About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever imagined seeing a piece of furniture you helped create leave the shop floor and become the centerpiece in someone’s home, office, or hotel? At BSD Richy Furniture Manufacturing LLC, we’re looking for detail-loving, hands-on Furniture Carpenters who take pride in their work—someone who can turn a plank of MDF into something extraordinary. If you know the difference between decent craftsmanship and remarkable quality, you just might be who we’re searching for. And since demand is climbing, we’re ready to get the right people on board…fast.
About BSD Richy Furniture Manufacturing LLC
We’re not just another furniture factory in Umm Al Quwain—we’re a team of makers who thrive on transforming bold designs into real-world creations. Our floor bustles with carefully orchestrated teamwork and the occasional shared joke over morning karak. Some of us are sticklers for clean edges, others obsess over assembly details, but we all believe good furniture makes people's lives better. We’re proud of our reputation for custom kitchens, wardrobes, and specialty pieces, and we never say “good enough” when perfection is within reach. If you like rolling up your sleeves and getting things done, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cut, shape, and assemble furniture components using MDF, melamine, and other modern materials.
- Interpret and work from technical shop drawings—if you can read a plan and bring it to life, that’s a big plus.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure each project matches the customer's vision.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with a focus on safety and quality.
- Craft and install custom furniture units: wardrobes, kitchen sets, retail displays, and more.
- Check measurements, edges, and finishes to guarantee consistency before each piece goes out.
- Pitch in on problem-solving when unique challenges pop up—it happens more often than you’d think!

- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in furniture manufacturing or carpentry.
- Proven ability with MDF, melamine, and similar modern board materials.

Nice-to-Haves
- Ability to read and interpret technical/shop drawings.
- Experience in CNC woodworking or specialty finishes.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Steady work schedule with immediate start—no waiting period.
- Competitive pay that values your skills and craftsmanship.
- Clean, modern factory environment with safety at the forefront.
- Opportunities to expand your expertise with new materials or designs.
- Supportive team culture—experienced supervisors are always happy to teach, and teammates rarely turn down a quick tip or helping hand.
- All the necessary protective gear and tools provided.
- Occasional company lunches and, yes, plenty of good-natured banter on the shop floor.
We believe a great workplace comes from caring about our people as much as we care about the pieces we create. Here, your skill won’t just be appreciated—it’ll be celebrated.
