About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you the type who thrives on the buzz of a construction site, orchestrating teams and turning blueprints into reality? We’re looking for an enthusiastic General Foreman (Construction & Maintenance) to join our growing crew right here in Dubai Internet City. If you take pride in your hands-on expertise and want to play a central role in shaping the city’s ever-evolving skyline, this might just be the perfect next chapter in your career. And yes, we know — the right environment makes all the difference.

About the Company

We’re a close-knit contracting company with our roots firmly planted in the heart of Dubai’s dynamic construction scene. Our team is a lively mix of seasoned pros and up-and-coming talent, united by a drive to deliver quality work — and maybe share the occasional post-shift karak. Growth is in our DNA: whether we’re breaking ground on new projects or fine-tuning maintenance work, collaboration and ownership are at the core of how we operate. Fridays might mean wrap-up meetings, but we’re equally serious about celebrating team wins, big and small.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing daily operations at active construction and maintenance sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinating and supervising site teams, subcontractors, and laborers to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Reading and interpreting project drawings and specifications, and communicating requirements clearly to your team.
  • Monitoring resource allocation and managing site logistics — think material deliveries, tool checklists, and that all-important coffee supply.
  • Troubleshooting site issues as they arise, using your experience to solve problems on the spot.
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with UAE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Acting as the on-the-ground point of contact for project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Reporting progress, challenges, and wins to senior management, keeping everyone in the loop.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in the UAE construction industry (maintenance experience is a definite plus).
  • Valid UAE driving license — you’ll be on the move between sites.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and local standards.
  • Good communication skills — English is a must; other languages are a bonus.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience in Dubai Internet City or similar commercial projects.
  • Working knowledge of basic project management tools or apps.
  • Familiarity with both new builds and maintenance/retrofit projects.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Free visa sponsorship — we handle the paperwork, so you can focus on the work that matters.
  • Comprehensive medical insurance for your peace of mind.
  • Company-provided accommodation and transportation — no stressful commutes or housing worries.
  • Competitive salary, in line with market standards and your experience.
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture where your input is genuinely valued.
  • Opportunities to grow — we promote from within whenever possible.
  • Regular team gatherings and a management team that actually listens.

At the end of the day, we believe a great workplace is built on trust, respect, and a sense of shared purpose. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and make your mark, we’re excited to meet you.
