About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wonder how Dubai’s most stunning interiors come to life? Here’s your chance to be part of the magic. We’re seeking skilled professionals — Gypsum Carpenters, Painters, Tile & Mosaic Masons, and Finishing Joiners — to join our growing team. If you take pride in your craft and want your work to be seen in some of Dubai’s premier commercial and residential spaces, we want to meet you. There’s real opportunity here for steady, rewarding work and a supportive crew that values skill, integrity, and a job well done.

About the Company

We’re a close-knit construction team based in Dubai, proud of our portfolio and even prouder of our people. Our projects range from luxury hotels to stylish private villas, each one a fresh challenge. Collaboration comes naturally to us — you’ll often find the team swapping tips at lunch or comparing notes on the day’s progress. We believe in working smart, treating each other right, and never cutting corners (except the ones you’re meant to!). Expansion is on the horizon, and we’re excited to bring more talented hands and bright minds on board.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Gypsum Carpenter:
    • Expertly install gypsum partitions, ceilings, and decorative elements to exact specifications.
    • Read and interpret drawings or sketches; measure, cut, and fit boards with precision.
    • Seamlessly repair, patch, or modify existing structures as needed.
  • Interior Painter:
    • Prepare surfaces (filling, sanding, priming) before applying flawless coats of paint — every detail matters.
    • Mix, match, and blend colors; ensure finishes meet high-end client expectations.
    • Take pride in clean lines, crisp edges, and a tidy workspace.
  • Finishing Joiner:
    • Fabricate and install bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and wood finishes.
    • Work closely with designers to bring custom concepts to life.
    • Restore, repair, or touch-up as needed on site — sometimes it’s the smallest detail that makes all the difference.
  • Tile & Mosaic Mason:
    • Lay tiles and mosaics with accuracy — from kitchens and bathrooms to one-of-a-kind feature walls.
    • Skillfully cut and shape tiles for complex patterns or tricky corners.
    • Grout, seal, and inspect completed work to guarantee durability and style.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience in your specialty — a few great projects or solid years on the job.
  • Familiarity with essential hand and power tools.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and punctuality.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse, friendly crew.
  • Flexibility for varied work schedules and evolving project needs.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Dubai/UAE experience or valid local work documents.
  • Ability to communicate basic English or Arabic on the job site.
  • Passion for learning new skills, sharing tricks of the trade, or mentoring apprentices.
  • Eye for design — the kind that notices alignments, finishes, and the “little things.”

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive, on-time pay — because your work deserves respect.
  • Overtime and performance-based bonuses for high achievers.
  • Support with work visas and site requirements.
  • Team culture that blends hard work with genuine camaraderie.
  • Regular safety training and opportunities to advance or expand skills.
  • Access to large-scale, high-visibility projects across Dubai.
  • Modern accommodations (for eligible roles) and daily site transport.

No two days are ever quite the same here. If you’re after stability, fair leadership, and a place where craftsmanship is truly appreciated, you’ll fit right in. We can’t wait to see what you’ll build with us.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Could you walk us through your process for installing a complex gypsum partition or decorative ceiling feature from interpreting the drawings to the final touches?
  • What types of hand and power tools are you most comfortable using in your trade, and how do you ensure their safe, effective operation on site?
  • When faced with a tricky corner or an intricate tile pattern, how do you ensure your cuts and installations are precise and visually seamless?
  • Tell us about a time you had to repair or touch-up finished work under a tight deadline. How did you approach the task without compromising quality?
  • In your experience working with high-end finishes or bespoke furniture installs, how do you ensure your craftsmanship consistently meets demanding client expectations?
  • Describe a challenging paint or surface preparation job you completed. How did you handle any obstacles, and what steps did you take to achieve a flawless finish?
  • How do you approach working with other specialists (like designers or fellow tradespeople) to bring a project’s vision to life?
  • Share an example when you trained or mentored a less-experienced colleague. What did you find rewarding or challenging about supporting their growth?
  • The team values punctuality and adaptability, especially with changing project schedules. How do you manage your time and priorities when work needs to shift suddenly?
  • Imagine you notice a safety risk or a potential issue with someone else’s work during a busy day. How would you address the situation while maintaining good team relations?
  • Have you worked on projects in Dubai or the UAE before? If so, what was unique about those jobs compared to work elsewhere?
  • What do you find most satisfying about seeing your work featured in prestigious spaces or finished projects?
  • We value team members who treat colleagues with respect and are open to swapping tips or sharing feedback. How do you contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment?
  • What motivates you to keep honing your skills or learning new craftsmanship techniques on the job?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For specialized trades such as gypsum carpenters, interior painters, finishing joiners, and tile & mosaic masons in Dubai, you should expect a monthly salary in the range of 2,000–3,500 AED, depending on your level of experience and skill. Highly experienced workers with strong portfolios or a history of work on luxury projects can often negotiate towards the higher end, and additional benefits like overtime pay, bonuses, accommodation, and site transport are commonly included in such roles. It’s always worthwhile to highlight any UAE experience or specialized skills to maximise your offer.
