About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever found yourself keeping everything—and everyone—on track, no matter how busy things get? That could be your superpower in this busy, people-driven logistics company in Old Trade Center, Dubai. We’re looking for an HR Assistant, Document Controller & Office Assistant who’s ready to dive in and help keep our operations running smoothly—even if you’re just starting your career journey. With an immediate start and competitive salary, this role is an excellent chance to get hands-on experience in a thriving sector.

About the Company

Based in the heart of Dubai’s historic Old Trade Center, our company is a key player in logistics, connecting goods and clients across borders and time zones. We’re not just about moving things from A to B—we’re all about people, partnership, and progress. Our team is a vibrant mix of nationalities and backgrounds (morning coffee debates about the best city for street food are legendary). Here, your initiative is valued, and your ideas really do make the rounds—sometimes over lunch, sometimes over Friday laughs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting HR with day-to-day activities—think onboarding new faces, keeping records organized, and helping resolve staff queries with a smile.
  • Collating, sorting, and managing key company documents, both digital and paper (there’s real satisfaction in a perfect filing system, isn’t there?).
  • Acting as the go-to assistant for general office tasks—from scheduling meetings to making sure the coffee never runs out.
  • Liaising confidently with different departments to ensure information flows smoothly and nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Supporting with data entry, photocopying, scanning, and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
  • Pitching in when the unexpected happens—because no two days in logistics are exactly alike.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • You’re inside the UAE and ready to join immediately (no lengthy notice period).
  • Basic computer skills—comfortable with email, Word, and Excel.
  • An organized mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Good spoken and written English (other languages? Even better!).
  • A “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn on the job.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior office, HR, or administrative experience (not mandatory—you’ll learn a lot here).
  • Previous work in logistics or a similar fast-paced setting.
  • Comfort interacting with a multicultural team.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Free visa and accommodation—take the stress out of relocation and focus on your career.
  • Salary that grows with your experience: AED 2,500–4,500 monthly.
  • Diverse team: You’ll be working alongside colleagues from around the world.
  • Learning on the job: Real responsibility and coaching from colleagues who want you to succeed.
  • Immediate start: Jump right in—no long waiting around.
  • All nationalities welcome: Talent comes in many forms here.

You’ll find yourself in a truly supportive environment—one where your effort is seen, your questions are answered, and you can build skills that travel with you. If you’re looking for that rare blend of stability, variety, and genuine growth, our team could be just the place to call home.

  • In your own words, what does great onboarding look like for new employees, and how would you help someone feel welcome from day one?
  • Tell me about a time you had to respond quickly to an unexpected change or challenge at work or school. How did you prioritize what to do first?
  • Give an example of how you’ve worked with people from different backgrounds or nationalities—what did you learn from that experience?
  • Imagine a colleague asks you for a file that isn't where it should be. How would you handle that situation to ensure smooth operations?
  • What strategies do you use to ensure ongoing communication and information-sharing across departments, especially when things get busy?

  • How do you keep yourself motivated and organized when faced with repetitive or routine tasks?
  • When have you suggested a small improvement at school, work, or in your community? What was the outcome?
  • Since immediate availability is required, how soon could you join us and what support might you need for a smooth transition into a new team and environment?
