About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wondered what it’s like to be the backbone of Abu Dhabi’s ever-evolving cityscape? As an Infrastructure Foreman with our general contracting team situated right on bustling Hamdan Street, you’ll quite literally be shaping the ground we walk on—roads, water systems, and everything in between. If you're someone who thrives outdoors, enjoys leading teams, and has a knack for bringing complex projects to life, you might find this role genuinely rewarding.
About the Company
We’re a tight-knit group of builders, problem-solvers, and yes—coffee enthusiasts—dedicated to making Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure both reliable and impressive. Our office has front-row seats to the city’s daily rhythm, but most of our magic happens on-site, where boots get dusty and ideas turn into tangible progress. With a reputation for high standards and a practical, hands-on approach, our team values collaboration, a no-nonsense work ethic, and the kind of camaraderie you only get from seeing a big project through together.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily site activities for infrastructure works: roads, sewage systems, water pipelines, and more
- Supervising, motivating, and guiding onsite teams to keep projects safe, steady, and on schedule
- Studying engineering drawings and translating plans into real-world execution—you’ll be the go-to for clarifying details and solving surprises
- Working closely with engineers and site supervisors to coordinate materials, equipment, and sequencing of tasks
- Monitoring quality of work, ensuring standards are met and reporting any discrepancies swiftly
- Facilitating toolbox talks, safety briefings, and supporting a positive safety culture amongst the crew
- Suggesting practical solutions when challenges arise (and they always do)
- Maintaining daily records of progress, workforce, and site conditions—sometimes with a quick WhatsApp photo, sometimes with a neat logbook
