What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing the daily workflow of the laundry shop, from intake to delivery, so nothing falls through the cracks
- Leading, training, and supporting a small team of dedicated staff — patience and a bit of humor go a long way
- Inspecting finished garments for quality and setting high standards for upkeep and cleanliness
- Coordinating schedules, delegating tasks, and handling the occasional scheduling puzzle
- Managing inventory of detergents and other supplies, and communicating needs to keep operations seamless
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and making sure safety procedures are always followed
- Providing outstanding, friendly service to walk-in customers and answering any queries with confidence
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 3–5 years of experience working in a laundry environment
- Proven ability to supervise or lead a small team
- Strong organizational skills, with an eye for quality and detail
- Solid communication skills — both with customers and staff
- Reliability and a hands-on work ethic; you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience managing staff schedules or inventory
- Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment
- Basic computer literacy (for order tracking or point-of-sale)
