About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what keeps a hotel or hospital running smoothly behind the scenes? It’s a dedicated laundry team working together to keep every sheet, uniform, and towel fresh and spotless. We’re currently searching for new team members who take pride in their work, bring a positive attitude, and aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. Whether you’ve worked around washers and dryers before or this is your first time considering laundry services, you could be the right fit for us — energy and reliability matter more than a perfect résumé.
About the Company
We’re a close-knit group with a shared goal: delivering crisp, clean garments that put a smile on our clients’ faces. Our laundry facility is more than just machines and detergents — it’s a place where teamwork is essential and every person’s contribution is noticed. Some days might be busy and fast-paced, but you’ll never feel alone. Expect plenty of friendly faces, encouragement when you need it, and the kind of camaraderie that makes even the toughest days a little lighter.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sorting incoming laundry by color, fabric, and type to prepare for cleaning
- Loading, operating, and unloading commercial washing and drying machines
- Ironing, folding, and finishing garments and linens with an eye for detail
- Treating each client’s items with care — as if they were your own!
- Keeping your workstation tidy and pitching in to keep the communal areas clean
- Noticing when something’s not right (like a stain that won’t budge), and raising it with your supervisor
- Occasionally assisting with deliveries or organizing completed orders for pickup
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- A willingness to work on your feet and handle physical tasks throughout your shift
- Reliability — we count on each other to keep things moving
- A positive attitude, even when the piles of laundry get a little higher than usual
- Basic communication skills so you can stay in sync with your teammates
- Commitment to cleanliness and care in all tasks
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous laundry or cleaning experience
- Familiarity with different types of fabrics and garment care
- A knack for organization (bonus: you secretly love a neat workspace)
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Consistent shifts — your schedule is predictable, so you can plan around it
- On-the-job training, with friendly supervisors who want to see you succeed
- A supportive, team-oriented atmosphere where everyone helps each other out
- Opportunities to move up or try new roles if you’re looking to grow
- Staff discounts on laundry services for you and your family
- Tea and coffee breaks — sometimes with treats, courtesy of the team
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. If you’re looking for a steady job with a dependable crew (and you don’t mind the soothing hum of dryers in the background), you’ll feel right at home with us.
