About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever thought about what it really takes to keep Dubai’s vibrant buildings running seamlessly? As a Maintenance Supervisor in the lively Barsha area, you’ll be more than just a technical lead — you’ll be a key player ensuring comfort, safety, and efficiency for clients day in and day out. If you thrive on challenge, pride yourself on operational excellence, and are ready for immediate impact, this role might be exactly what you’re looking for. Plus, with a robust package and support from day one, it’s a chance to step into a role that truly values your expertise.

About the Company

Based in the heart of Barsha, our contracting company has carved out a reputation for reliability and top-notch craftsmanship across Dubai. What makes us tick? A genuine commitment to our people and our projects. Our diverse team brings together decades of know-how, tackling everything from luxury residences to bustling commercial spaces. Team bonding happens over quick coffees more often than boardrooms, and your input here won’t just be heard — it’ll help steer the future of our operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading a small-but-mighty maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed to our high standards and on tight deadlines.
  • Conducting regular inspections across client sites, identifying and addressing issues before they escalate.
  • Coordinating with external vendors, service providers, and clients to guarantee smooth workflow and satisfied stakeholders.
  • Training and mentoring junior technicians, sharing your know-how while nurturing a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Documenting all maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs in clear, thorough records (good communication is key here).
  • Troubleshooting urgent technical issues, sometimes at a moment’s notice, to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Reporting on inventory needs — tools, parts, supplies — and ensuring everything’s well-stocked for those “just in case” moments.
  • Liaising with management to optimize schedules, budgets, and client communications as required.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor (preferably in the UAE or GCC region, but Dubai expertise is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general facility troubleshooting.
  • The legal right to work in the Emirates and immediate availability in-country.
  • Excellent team leadership, with a knack for motivating and guiding different personalities.
  • Good spoken and written English — clear communication with clients and the team is a must.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Arabic language skills are a welcome bonus.
  • Familiarity with modern CMMS or other facility management software.
  • Prior experience with contracting companies or multi-site maintenance teams.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary range (5,000–6,000 AED) with prompt, reliable payment.
  • Full suite of essential services: work visa, official contract, comprehensive health insurance — all handled for you.
  • Supportive, close-knit team where everyone pitches in and new ideas are genuinely welcome.
  • Opportunities to learn, mentor, and grow — both technically and in people management.
  • A dynamic, active workplace in one of Dubai’s prime areas, with all the energy and amenities Barsha has to offer.

At the end of the day, you’ll know your work keeps things running for hundreds of people — and you’ll do it alongside a team that truly values quality, reliability, and respect. We’re excited to meet the right person who wants to make a real difference here!

  • Have you worked with CMMS or other facility management software before? If so, what specific tools did you use, and how did they improve your workflow?
  • Dubai’s commercial spaces often juggle diverse client needs—can you give an example of how you’ve coordinated between vendors, service providers, and clients to keep everyone satisfied?
  • How do you balance hands-on technical tasks with mentoring and training your junior technicians? Can you share an example of growing someone’s abilities on your team?

  • When documenting maintenance activities and incidents, what details do you always include, and why is thorough communication important in this role?
  • Have you ever found yourself short on supplies or tools in a critical moment? How do you manage inventory proactively in a busy maintenance environment?
  • Our culture values quick decision-making and open feedback. Give an example of how you’ve shared ideas or driven improvements that made a difference for your team or clients.
  • This role involves daily interaction with people from many backgrounds. How do you build trust and rapport—especially when managing people with different personalities or skill levels?
  • With a diverse, active team that often brainstorms over coffee instead of formal meetings, what kind of work environment do you thrive in? How do you contribute to a close-knit team dynamic?
  • Why do you believe clear, compassionate communication is essential in both technical work and client interactions in Dubai’s fast-paced
