What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading a small-but-mighty maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed to our high standards and on tight deadlines.
- Conducting regular inspections across client sites, identifying and addressing issues before they escalate.
- Coordinating with external vendors, service providers, and clients to guarantee smooth workflow and satisfied stakeholders.
- Training and mentoring junior technicians, sharing your know-how while nurturing a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Documenting all maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs in clear, thorough records (good communication is key here).
- Troubleshooting urgent technical issues, sometimes at a moment’s notice, to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
- Reporting on inventory needs — tools, parts, supplies — and ensuring everything’s well-stocked for those “just in case” moments.
- Liaising with management to optimize schedules, budgets, and client communications as required.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor (preferably in the UAE or GCC region, but Dubai expertise is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general facility troubleshooting.
- The legal right to work in the Emirates and immediate availability in-country.
- Excellent team leadership, with a knack for motivating and guiding different personalities.
- Good spoken and written English — clear communication with clients and the team is a must.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Arabic language skills are a welcome bonus.
- Familiarity with modern CMMS or other facility management software.
