What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising day-to-day maintenance operations for various client sites — and handling the unexpected as it pops up.
- Guiding, mentoring, and motivating a diverse maintenance team; you’ll be the go-to person on and off the job site.
- Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance schedules so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Inspecting facilities and equipment, promptly identifying issues, and rolling up your sleeves to set things right.
- Communicating clearly with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate tracking and reporting of work orders, spare-parts inventories, and compliance checks.
- Upholding safety best practices — your commitment to safe workspaces will set the tone for your team.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience supervising maintenance or facilities teams — ideally in the UAE.
- Currently residing in the UAE (this is a hard requirement).
- Strong knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general civil maintenance.
- Reliable team leadership skills — from training newcomers to resolving on-the-ground issues.
- Fluent spoken and written English; other languages are a bonus.
- Proactive attitude and the ability to handle pressure, especially during urgent repairs.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with local regulations, permits, and safety certificates.
- Experience with maintenance management software or digital tracking solutions.
- Multi-lingual communication skills.
