About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
MEP Site Supervisor – Where Buildings Breathe and Systems Come Alive
Ever walked into a finished project and quietly thought, I helped make this work? That’s the feeling we’re chasing. Al Sahir Gen. Con. Est. Maintenance Company is looking for an MEP Site Supervisor who knows their way around mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the UAE — someone who can keep a site moving without losing their cool. If you’ve got the experience and a valid UAE driving license, even better. This isn’t just another site job; it’s a chance to be the person everyone relies on when things need to run smoothly.
About Al Sahir Gen. Con. Est. Maintenance Company
We’re a hands-on contracting and maintenance company based on Al Buhouth Afra Street, Abu Dhabi City — not a faceless corporation, but a team that’s built its reputation one project at a time. Our work spans general contracting and maintenance, and we take pride in doing things properly, not just quickly. The crew here is practical, direct, and supportive; if you’re stuck, someone’s already grabbing their tools to help. We’re growing steadily, which means there’s real room for someone who wants to grow with us.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervise MEP installations and maintenance work on-site, making sure things match the drawings, specs, and — frankly — common sense.
- Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and project engineers so the MEP scope doesn’t become the reason a project stalls.
- Keep an eye on quality, safety, and timelines; catch issues early before they turn into expensive fixes.
- Review materials and equipment deliveries — because the wrong fitting on a Friday afternoon is nobody’s idea of fun.
- Report progress to the project manager and keep daily site records tidy and accurate.
- Troubleshoot MEP snags and coordinate corrective work with the relevant teams.
- Make sure all work complies with UAE standards and project requirements.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid UAE experience as an MEP Site Supervisor or a similar on-site MEP role.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in building projects.
- Ability to read drawings, specs, and site instructions without needing a translator.
- Strong coordination and communication skills — you’ll be talking to a lot of different people every day.
Nice-to-Haves:
- A valid UAE driving license (definitely an advantage for site visits and coordination).
- Relevant technical diploma or certification.
- Experience in maintenance as well as new installation work.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you — sometimes the right person is more about attitude and site sense than a perfect checklist.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Salary that reflects your experience — we’ll discuss it openly and fairly based on what you bring to the table.
- Benefits as per UAE Labour Law — because the basics should never be a negotiation.
- Real responsibility from day one — you won’t be a clipboard holder; your decisions will matter.
- A team that has your back — we’re small enough that everyone knows your name and big enough to keep the projects coming.
- Growth potential — as we expand, the people who helped us get there move up with us.
At Al Sahir, you’re not just filling a role — you’re the person who makes sure the lights turn on, the water flows, and the AC actually cools. If that sounds like your kind of job satisfaction, we should talk.
