About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever found yourself at the heart of a business, pulling the strings behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly? As our new Office Receptionist in Barsha, Dubai, you’ll be the first friendly face that greets visitors and keeps the wheels turning at our bustling front desk. It’s a perfect role for someone who takes pride in making every guest feel welcome while staying effortlessly organized — all in a company that values professionalism as much as a genuine smile. If you love variety in your daily routine and enjoy being the go-to person everyone relies on, read on.

About the Company

We’re a growing recruitment consultancy with a knack for connecting talent with opportunity — and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. Sure, we take our work seriously (just ask us about our candidate success stories), but there's plenty of warmth and laughter in our office, too. Our Barsha branch is a lively spot, where colleagues value collaboration, quick thinking, and those who don’t mind helping with everything from a last-minute scheduling change to welcoming a nervous job applicant with a cup of tea. Here, details matter, but so does kindness – it’s just how we operate.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Greeting all visitors with a professional, approachable manner and ensuring their needs are swiftly attended to.
  • Answering incoming phone calls, directing them to the right team members, and taking clear, detailed messages when needed.
  • Managing appointment bookings and meeting schedules using our in-house calendar system; making sure the day flows smoothly for everyone.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence — yes, physical and digital!
  • Maintaining a tidy, organized reception and front office area; think of it as your domain (and the office’s first impression).
  • Assisting with occasional administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, or helping prep for company events.
  • Playing a part in maintaining our welcoming office atmosphere — you’ll know when to step in to help out, even if it’s just watering the plants.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (and bonus points for Arabic).
  • A polished, well-presented, and professional appearance.
  • Reliability and punctuality — you’re someone people can always count on.
  • Strong organizational abilities; you keep things running smoothly, even on busy days.
  • Friendly, positive attitude and genuine care for others’ experiences.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience in a reception, administrative, or customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with office management tools (think MS Office, Google Calendar, maybe a few “hidden hack” tricks up your sleeve).
  • A knack for picking up new systems or tech quickly.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Comfortable office in Barsha, easily accessible by public transport.
  • Supportive, close-knit team that appreciates a good sense of humor (and the occasional homemade snack).
  • Opportunities for professional development and internal progression within the recruitment field.
  • Regular recognition — your contributions won’t go unnoticed.
  • A hybrid policy for occasional remote work, once you’ve settled into the role.
  • Team events, festive celebrations, and a culture of mutual respect.

At the end of the day, it’s not just about managing a front desk — it’s about shaping the first impression and the lasting memory of our company for every visitor who walks through the door. Your presence will set the tone, and your organization will help us all succeed. If that sounds like you, we can’t wait to welcome you aboard.
