What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing surfaces — scraping, sanding, patching, and priming to make sure every coat goes on smoothly.
- Mixing and matching paint colors to achieve the exact shade needed, with an eye for detail.
- Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprays.
- Setting up ladders, scaffolding, and protective coverings safely and efficiently before each job.
- Working collaboratively with other painters and tradespeople to complete larger projects.
- Following all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace for yourself and the entire team.
- Maintaining your equipment and workspace so everything is ready for the next job.
- Communicating clearly if there are any issues on the job — whether it’s unexpected wall damage or running low on supplies.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in painting — whether on commercial sites, residential homes, or both.
- Knowledge of paint types, finishes, and standard application techniques.
- A valid, transferable residency visa (this is a must for us to proceed).
