What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing, adjusting, and securely fixing pipelines for vital water, drainage, and sewerage networks across diverse project sites
- Carefully reading and interpreting technical drawings and pipeline system layouts to ensure every pipe goes exactly where it should
- Measuring, cutting, threading, and welding pipes — precision and craftsmanship matter as much as muscle here
- Coordinating with engineers, supervisors, and fellow crew members to guarantee seamless installation and problem-solving on the fly
- Conducting pressure tests and system checks to verify connections are leak-free and compliant with industry codes
- Following strict safety procedures and keeping your work area organized, because getting everyone home safely is non-negotiable
What You’ll Bring
- Solid hands-on experience as a Pipe Fitter, ideally on infrastructure or utility projects (water, drainage, sewerage)
- The ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings and work plans — attention to detail is key
- Skilled in cutting, threading, and welding pipes (variety of materials: steel, PVC, ductile iron, etc.)
- Knowledge of local safety protocols and practices, with a commitment to working safely at all times
- Team player attitude — you’re as comfortable communicating with engineers as with your fellow fitters
- Flexibility to adapt as the project demands shift (because in construction, they always do!)
