About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wondered what it takes to keep a growing business in Dubai running smoothly? It’s not just about the big deals or the flashy launches—it’s about the quiet, steady work of making sure everything and everyone has what they need, exactly when they need it. That’s where you come in.
We’re on the lookout for a sharp, hands-on Procurement Executive to join our team in Abu Hail, Dubai. This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck in the background; you’ll be the engine room of our operations, the person who turns a simple request into a delivered reality. If you have a knack for numbers, a talent for talking to suppliers, and the kind of organized mind that actually enjoys paperwork, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
About the Company
We’re a well-established player in our industry, with a footprint that’s solidly rooted in the UAE market. But don’t let our stability fool you—we move fast, we adapt quickly, and we genuinely value people who bring fresh ideas to the table. Think of us as a company that has the resources of a big corporation but the energy and close-knit feel of a family-run business.
Our team is a mix of long-timers who know the ropes inside out and newer faces who keep things exciting. We believe in doing things properly, but we also know that a bit of banter over the morning coffee makes the day go by faster. We’re not about rigid hierarchies; we’re about getting the job done right, and we support each other to make that happen.
What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
This is a role where no two days are quite the same, and that’s part of the charm. You’ll be the go-to person for all things procurement, which means you’ll have your fingers on the pulse of our supply chain. Here’s a taste of what your week will look like:
- Sourcing and Coordinating: You’ll be the bridge between our internal teams and our external suppliers. This means understanding what’s needed, finding the right vendors, and keeping the lines of communication open and clear—no small feat in a busy market like Dubai.
- The Quote Collector: You’ll be responsible for gathering quotations from multiple suppliers, comparing them not just on price, but on quality, lead times, and reliability. It’s a bit like being a detective, piecing together the best possible deal for the company.
- Negotiation Central: Your negotiation skills will be put to good use here. We’re not looking for someone who just accepts the first price—we want someone who can build relationships and secure favorable terms, saving us money without burning bridges.
- Master of Documentation: From Purchase Orders to delivery notes, you’ll own the paperwork trail. You’ll ensure everything is accurate, filed correctly, and that the process runs without a hitch. If you’re the kind of person who gets a small thrill from a perfectly organized spreadsheet, you’ll fit right in.
- Supplier Relationship Management: You won’t just be a voice on the phone. You’ll nurture our relationships with key vendors, resolving any issues that pop up and ensuring we remain a priority customer for them.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
We’re less concerned about the exact title on your CV and more interested in what you can actually do. The right attitude and a solid foundation in procurement will take you far with us.
Must-Haves:
- Solid Experience: You’ve got a proven track record in procurement or purchasing, ideally with some experience in the UAE market. You know the drill, and you’re ready to hit the ground running.
- Supplier Savvy: You’re comfortable picking up the phone, sending a clear email, or even meeting suppliers face-to-face. Coordinating with vendors is second nature to you, and you know how to get the information you need.
- Analytical Eye: You can look at a pile of quotes and quickly identify the best option. You’re comfortable with numbers and can spot a good deal from a bad one.
- Negotiation Prowess: You’re a natural communicator who can hold your own in a conversation. You know how to be firm but fair, and you understand that the best deals are the ones where both sides feel good.
- Documentation Guru: You’re meticulous with paperwork. Purchase Orders, delivery schedules, and invoices don’t scare you—you actually like keeping them in order.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with ERP or procurement software.
- A relevant degree or certification in supply chain management.
- A network of local suppliers you can tap into.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you. If you’ve got the drive and the basics, we’re happy to help you grow the rest.
Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)

- Stability and Growth: We’re a solid company in a prime location in Abu Hail. We offer a stable work environment where you can truly make a role your own and grow with us.
