About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Curious what it’s like to put your stamp on some of the UAE’s most ambitious construction projects? As a Plumber at I Build Engineering Contracting, you won’t just be fixing pipes — you’ll be helping shape the skyline of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. If you take pride in your craftsmanship and are looking for a team that values technical skill as much as a can-do attitude, this opportunity might just be the perfect fit.

About the Company

At I Build Engineering Contracting, our projects are more than just blueprints and deadlines — they’re a reflection of the people behind them. From our headquarters in Mussafah 2, our teams bring together experience, drive, and a healthy sense of humor (ask us about our legendary chai breaks). We’re a growing company with deep roots in the UAE construction scene, known for tackling everything from high-rise builds to complex infrastructure. Here, collaboration isn’t just a buzzword — it’s how we get the job done.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on active construction sites across Abu Dhabi and Dubai
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accuracy in every task
  • Collaborating closely with foremen, fellow plumbers, and other trades to deliver projects to the highest standards
  • Troubleshooting issues as they arise, thinking on your feet to find efficient solutions (sometimes literally on your feet, on a busy site!)
  • Ensuring all installations meet local codes, safety regulations, and the company’s own strict quality benchmarks
  • Prioritizing safety — for yourself, your team, and everyone working on-site
  • Reporting progress and challenges to supervisors, and pitching in wherever your skills are most needed

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in plumbing within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of technical specifications, drawings, and industry standards
  • Proven ability to work efficiently within a team and keep cool under pressure
  • Commitment to safety and detail — you don’t cut corners
  • Flexibility to work across Abu Dhabi and Dubai as projects demand

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with both residential and commercial plumbing systems
  • Experience working on large-scale or high-rise projects
  • Basic English or Arabic communication skills

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive, on-time salary with opportunities for overtime
  • Supportive team culture — nobody is just a number here
  • Work gear and tools provided (so you can focus on the job, not the shopping list)
  • Regular training sessions to keep your skills sharp and up-to-date
  • Projects that challenge you and help you grow — no two days are the same
  • A straightforward, respectful management style — we trust our people to do great work

You’ll be joining a crew that takes pride in what we build, looks out for each other, and celebrates a job well done. If you’re ready to raise your game and work on projects you’ll be proud to point out years from now, let’s talk.
