What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading construction projects from the initial planning phase through execution and completion
- Coordinating day-to-day site operations, keeping a watchful eye on quality, safety, and progress
- Liaising with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication
- Tracking budgets, resource allocation, and timelines with a keen attention to detail
- Solving problems on the spot — no two days are quite the same
- Preparing regular reports and presenting updates to management (and sometimes, clients)
- Ensuring all work complies with Dubai’s regulatory and safety standards
- Mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of teamwork on-site
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3 years of project management experience in the UAE construction sector
- Strong organizational chops — you can juggle deadlines, contractors, and last-minute changes
- Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Currently residing in the UAE and ready to start as soon as possible
Nice-to-Haves:
- Proficiency in Arabic or additional languages
- Hands-on experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- A recognized project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
