About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the type of project manager who comes alive when orchestrating the moving parts of a truly ambitious build? As a Project Manager (Civil Engineer) in the heart of Al Jaddaf, Dubai, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the city’s ever-evolving skyline. If you thrive on the challenge of taking large-scale civil or industrial projects from that first blueprint through to the final handover, this is your stage to shine. Your expertise will guide the full project lifecycle — and yes, your impact will be anything but ordinary.
About the Company
We’re a highly respected player in Dubai’s thriving construction scene, known for turning big dreams into solid results across civil and industrial sectors. Our teams are tight-knit, quick to collaborate, and genuinely invested in each other’s success. You’ll notice that Thursday afternoon site walks are as much about camaraderie as progress updates, and sharing knowledge is practically second nature here. We’re in a growth phase, taking on landmark projects that require equal parts technical mastery and creative problem-solving — there’s never a dull moment (and rarely a silent WhatsApp chat).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end delivery of major civil and industrial projects, from kick-off to commissioning and handover
- Overseeing design coordination — translating client briefs into buildable solutions alongside consultants and architects
- Developing, updating, and tracking robust project schedules that keep every stakeholder aligned and every milestone on target
- Managing budgets with a close eye on cost efficiency, resource allocation, and quality benchmarks
- Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, government authorities, and utility providers to keep project wheels turning smoothly
- Driving the procurement process — selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of critical materials
- Monitoring safety, compliance, and environmental standards on site
- Resolving project challenges on the fly and keeping communication lines clear with everyone from field teams to C-suite
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field); PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
- 10+ years’ hands-on experience managing the full cycle of large-scale civil or industrial projects in the UAE or GCC region
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar)
- Comfortable steering multi-disciplinary teams (structural, MEP, procurement, QA/QC)
- Strong command of English; Arabic communication is a bonus
- Proven knack for schedule and budget control alongside risk management
- Track record of productive coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and local authorities
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with fast-track projects or design-build contract models
- Familiarity with sustainable building standards (LEED, Estidama, etc.)
- Prior work on high-profile infrastructure or industrial plants in the UAE
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive compensation, annual bonuses, and housing allowances
- Opportunity to lead some of the region’s headline projects — your work will stand out
- Supportive, multicultural team with genuine respect for expertise and initiative
- Flexible approach to site and office work (hybrid as project stages allow)
- Ongoing learning — from informal peer coaching to formal professional development
- Health insurance, annual flight allowance, and fun team events (think desert BBQs, not just boardrooms)
We’re serious about building careers as much as we’re committed to building Dubai’s future. If you’re ready for a platform where your influence matters — and your leadership inspires — we’d be delighted to meet you.
