About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered how it feels to take a project from an abstract idea to a shining, finished product? As our new Project Manager, you’ll be at the epicenter of that process—making sure every piece falls perfectly into place. This isn’t just another project coordination gig; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference in how we deliver results, foster collaboration, and continuously refine our process. If you get a thrill from seeing teams thrive and deadlines met (with a little breathing room to spare), this role could be just what you’re looking for.
About the Company
We’re a modest-sized yet ambitious team, passionate about doing meaningful work and celebrating progress—big or small. Think of us as a group where everyone brings something to the table, be it midday memes or Friday morning brainstorms (coffee, always provided). We believe transparency and ownership fuel our best work, so project updates here are lively discussions, not monotonous checklists. Growth is part of our identity: from quarterly learning stipends to spontaneous group lunches, we’re committed to enjoying the journey as much as the results.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing a portfolio of ongoing projects, from kickoff right through to delivery—no task too big, no detail too small
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, scheduling regular check-ins, and keeping all stakeholders in the loop
- Submitting clear, concise project deliverables—on time, and up to our standards
- Preparing status reports that actually tell the story behind the numbers, not just fill spreadsheets
- Designing and implementing effective project communication plans (both formal and informal) to keep everyone on the same page
- Identifying potential risks, flagging them early, and devising effective solutions
- Facilitating project-related meetings, and sometimes gently steering a conversation back on course
- Keeping an eye on timelines, resources, and budgets, while juggling inevitable curveballs
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience managing projects—ideally with teams of 5–20 people
- Strong organizational skills; you love a well-constructed to-do list
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfort with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or similar
- A proactive approach—you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty to solve a problem
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in our industry (we’ll fill you in on the details!)
- Certifications like PMP or Scrum Master
- A knack for reading the room—knowing when to push and when to pivot
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Flexible hybrid work—think: balanced office days (collaboration) and home days (focus)
- Comprehensive health benefits and generous PTO
- Ongoing opportunities for professional growth—like learning stipends, conference tickets, or even the occasional skills workshop
- A genuine team-first culture (and yes, our memes are strong)
- Transparent leadership who actually listen and appreciate new ideas
We strive to create an environment where deadlines feel motivating, not daunting, and where your professional growth matches the pace of our projects. If you’re looking for a place to not only lead, but truly shape the outcome—welcome aboard.
