About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever found yourself mentally measuring out spaces and tallying costs while walking through a construction site? If so, you might feel right at home in our Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) role here in Abu Dhabi. With new projects taking shape across the skyline, we’re looking for someone with proven UAE construction experience—someone ready to dive into the details and help keep ambitious ventures on track and on budget. If you thrive on making the numbers work while collaborating closely with site teams, this might just be your next move.

About the Company

At our company, “leading” isn’t just a tagline — it’s a mindset. We’re not the type to coast on yesterday’s reputation; we build it, floor by floor, with every client’s vision. Our team is a mix of seasoned pros and eager problem-solvers, and we believe that a job well done is a reason to celebrate (though our Friday team lunches help too). We value hands-on teamwork, sharp thinking, and that rare mix of precision and flexibility that defines the best in construction. You’ll feel that energy from your very first day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for projects, and update as drawings and scopes evolve
  • Develop and scrutinize Bills of Quantities (BOQs), ensuring full alignment with project plans
  • Monitor site measurements, document variations, and communicate findings clearly to all stakeholders
  • Prepare, check, and finalize monthly invoices with an eye for detail
  • Draft and review technical reports, summarizing project progress and cost tracking
  • Liaise regularly with project managers and site engineers to resolve discrepancies or scope changes
  • Use Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project to streamline workflows and maintain meticulous records
  • Assist with tender evaluations and contract administration as needed
  • (If you happen to know your way around FIDIC contracts, you’ll get to put that into practice as well)

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • At least 3 years’ Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) experience within the UAE construction sector
  • Hands-on expertise in quantity take-offs, BOQs, variation orders, and invoice preparation
  • Strong skills in Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project—these are your daily tools
  • Experience writing clear, concise technical reports
  • A proactive approach to solving problems, reducing costs, and improving efficiency
  • Comfortable working with diverse site and office teams

Nice-to-Haves

  • Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts
  • Previous experience with mid-sized to large-scale projects in Abu Dhabi
  • Able to communicate comfortably in both English and Arabic

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package designed to recognize your expertise
  • Professional, inclusive project environment—you’ll have support from day one
  • Opportunities for career growth as our project portfolio expands
  • Exposure to landmark developments and industry-leading practices
  • Collaborative team spirit, with regular knowledge sharing and a healthy respect for work-life balance
  • Modern office setup and the tools you need to be at your best

Ready to measure up your next career step? With us, your precision and insights don’t just make projects possible—they make them exceptional.
