What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing, analyzing, and refining structural designs for a range of precast components — each project is a little different!
- Developing and reviewing detailed precast and structural drawings using modern drafting tools.
- Reviewing and approving shop drawings, making sure every detail lines up with design intent and site realities.
- Collaborating closely with design, production, and site teams — sometimes you’re in the office, sometimes you’re out where the action is.
- Performing structural calculations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with local standards.
- Troubleshooting and recommending technical solutions when new challenges pop up.
- Keeping the communication lines open between handlers, fabricators, and project managers (your input will genuinely matter in every phase).
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with precast systems and structural drafting.
- Proficiency in relevant drafting software (AutoCAD or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of structural calculations and reading technical plans.
- Familiarity with the construction workflow from design through to site coordination.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi’s codes and regulations for structural engineering.
