About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever dreamed of working with your back to the sea and your eyes on the skyline? That’s the daily reality at Al Sharq Real Estate’s main branch on the Ajman Corniche. We’re not just looking for employees — we’re looking for people who want to grow with us. As one of Ajman’s leading real estate firms, we’ve built a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and results. And right now, we’re expanding our team.

If you’ve been searching for a role that offers real career momentum — not just a job — this might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

About the Company

Al Sharq Real Estate isn’t your average brokerage. We’ve earned our place as a household name in Ajman by doing things the right way — building lasting relationships with clients, investors, and tenants alike. Our Corniche branch sits right in the heart of the action, giving our team daily views of the water and a front-row seat to the emirate’s rapid growth.

But here’s what really sets us apart: the people. Walk into our office and you’ll find a mix of seasoned agents and hungry newcomers, all supported by a leadership team that genuinely invests in their success. We celebrate wins together, we share leads, and we push each other to be better. It’s competitive — but in the healthiest sense of the word.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sourcing and securing new listings — from residential apartments to commercial spaces, you’ll be out there building your portfolio and negotiating exclusive deals.
  • Connecting with prospective buyers and tenants — whether it’s a cold call, a site visit, or a follow-up coffee meeting, you’ll be the bridge between property and people.
  • Managing the full sales cycle — from first inquiry to final paperwork. You’ll handle negotiations, coordinate with our legal team, and make sure every deal closes smoothly.
  • Building your own client network — we give you the tools, but your relationships are your currency. You’ll be encouraged to nurture repeat business and referrals.
  • Staying on top of market trends — pricing, new developments, off-plan launches. You’ll know Ajman’s real estate landscape inside and out.
  • Collaborating with the team — our branch thrives on shared knowledge. You’ll be part of a group that swaps tips, supports each other on tough negotiations, and celebrates every win.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • A valid UAE driver’s license — you’ll be visiting properties across Ajman and beyond.
  • Proven experience in real estate sales, property leasing, or a related field (though we’re open to exceptional fresh talent with the right attitude).
  • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a definite plus.
  • A results-driven mindset — you’re motivated by targets and take pride in closing deals.
  • Familiarity with Ajman’s property market and local regulations (or the hunger to learn fast).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • An existing book of clients or property listings you can bring with you.
  • Experience with off-plan sales or luxury properties.
  • A background in customer service or hospitality — because great relationships are the backbone of this business.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you. Sometimes the right attitude matters more than the perfect CV.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Prime Corniche location — let’s be honest, not many offices come with sea views. Your daily commute ends somewhere most people only visit on weekends.
  • Serious earning potential — with competitive commission structures and a steady flow of leads, your income is directly tied to your effort.
  • Clear growth pathways — we promote from within. Many of our senior agents and team leaders started exactly where you’d be starting.
  • Training and mentorship — you won’t be thrown in the deep end. We provide ongoing support, market insights, and one-on-one coaching.
  • A genuinely supportive team — from the receptionist to the branch manager, everyone here wants you to succeed.
  • Professional environment — no chaos, no drama. Just a well-organized, respectful workplace where hard work is noticed and rewarded.

At the end of the day, we’re offering more than a job. We’re offering a place to build a career — in one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the UAE. If that sounds like where you want to be, we’d love to meet you.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Walk me through how you’d approach sourcing a new listing in Ajman — where would you start, and how would you convince a property owner to choose Al Sharq over another agency?

  • Imagine a client is hesitating on a deal because they think prices are about to drop. How would you handle that conversation and keep the momentum going?

  • Tell me about a time you had to manage a difficult negotiation where both sides were far apart. What did you do to bring them closer, and how did it end?

  • We work in a fast-moving market where off-plan launches and new developments pop up regularly. How do you stay current on pricing trends and new inventory in Ajman?

  • Describe your process for turning a cold lead into a warm client. What’s your follow-up strategy, and how do you keep yourself top-of-mind without being pushy?

  • Give me an example of a deal that almost fell through at the paperwork or legal stage. How did you handle it, and what did you learn from that experience?

  • Our team shares leads and supports each other on tough negotiations. Can you share a time you collaborated with a colleague to close a deal — or helped a teammate who was struggling?

  • What does “results-driven” mean to you in a real estate context? How do you keep yourself motivated during slower weeks or when a deal feels stuck?

  • We’re proud of our professional, drama-free environment. How do you handle pressure or conflict with a coworker in a way that keeps the workplace positive?

  • If you joined us with limited knowledge of Ajman’s property regulations, how would you go about getting up to speed quickly? What resources or habits would you rely on?

  • Tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a client. What did you do, and how did it impact your relationship with them?

  • Where do you see your real estate career in three years — and how does a role like this fit into that

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

Based on the Ajman market and the commission-driven nature of this role, you should expect a competitive base salary of around 3,000 to 4,000 AED per month for a junior or mid-level agent. However, the real earning potential here lies in the commission structure—similar roles in the UAE typically offer uncapped earnings, allowing experienced agents to double or triple their base with successful deals. If you bring a solid client book or proven sales experience, don't hesitate to negotiate for a higher base or a better commission split, as your track record is your strongest bargaining chip.
