About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking for a front-desk job where no two days feel exactly the same? As our new Receptionist & Customer Service Representative at a fast-paced Carpet Laundry in Mussafah, you’ll be the friendly first impression and steady point of contact for our customers. It’s an opportunity to put your people skills front and center, help clients keep their homes looking sharp, and join a team that's woven into the fabric of the local community. Sound intriguing?
About the Company
We may be in the business of carpets, but our real specialty is turning a regular laundry visit into a genuinely positive experience. Our team is close-knit (no pun intended), from morning check-ins to the occasional celebratory lunch when we hit a big milestone. We believe in honest work, a sense of humor, and helping each other out—whether that means pitching in during busy times or sharing the best nearby coffee spots in Mussafah. If you thrive in a supportive and straightforward environment, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting customers with a warm, genuine welcome—either in person or over the phone.
- Handling bookings, inquiries, and updates through calls, WhatsApp, and in-person visits.
- Using Microsoft Office to log orders, print receipts, and track collection/delivery schedules.
- Assisting drivers and customers in locating pickup and delivery addresses via maps apps.
- Troubleshooting small issues on the spot, always aiming to turn a frustration into a resolved smile.
- Coordinating with the laundry team to ensure customer instructions are understood and followed.
- Keeping the front-of-house area tidy, and pitching in on small admin tasks during quieter spells.
What You’ll Bring
- Good customer service instincts, and the patience and positivity to handle a variety of client requests.
- Comfortable using the computer—especially Microsoft Office (like Excel for receipts and order tracking).
- Ability to read maps apps (Google Maps, Waze, etc.) and help drivers find their routes smoothly.
- Excellent spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Fixed monthly salary (AED 2000 – 2200), always on time.
- Accommodation provided right in Mussafah—one less thing to worry about.
- A full day off each week for yourself, and a team who 'has your back' when you need it.
- Room to grow your skills, whether that’s with customer service or exploring other roles as we expand.
- Friendly coworkers, supportive management, and straightforward expectations—no corporate red tape here.
Our door is always open for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and be a valued part of the team. If you like the sound of working where every day has a little variety (and maybe the freshest-smelling workspace in town), we’re excited to meet you.
