About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Do you find genuine satisfaction in helping people feel welcome the moment they walk through the door? At London Medical Center, we’re on the lookout for a Receptionist to join our warm and busy clinic in Al Humaidiya 2, Ajman. You’ll be the reassuring first point of contact for our patients — the friendly face (and voice) who sets the tone for their entire experience with us. In a community where clear communication and professionalism truly matter, this is your chance to make a real difference every single day.
About the Company
London Medical Center isn’t just another healthcare facility; we’re a vibrant team that believes every patient interaction matters, from the very first greeting at the front desk to every visit that follows. Our clinicians work hand-in-hand with our reception team to ensure every patient feels genuinely cared for — it’s a big deal to us. We embrace multiculturalism (our lunchroom is as diverse as our patient list), celebrate small wins, and make sure our receptionists never feel like they’re “just the front desk.” In short: here, your personality and professionalism truly count.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet patients and visitors in person, making every arrival feel acknowledged and cared for
- Answer and direct incoming calls with patience and a smile, even on the busiest days
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments to keep everything running smoothly
- Support overall front desk operations — from paperwork to coordination with back-office staff
- Use your Arabic language skills to assist patients who might feel more at ease speaking in their native tongue
- Handle confidential information with complete professionalism
- Quickly resolve minor concerns or redirect issues to the right person on the clinical team
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- A warm, approachable, and professional attitude
- Fluent Arabic speaking skills (essential for serving our community)
- Courteous, confident communication — in person and on the phone
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy clinics
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience at a clinic or healthcare front desk
- Familiarity with appointment scheduling software
- A knack for calming anxious patients or family members
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you. Sometimes the right attitude outweighs the perfect CV.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Supportive, collegial atmosphere — we genuinely look out for one another
- Exposure to a dynamic, multicultural environment in Ajman
- Regular on-the-job learning with friendly mentors
- Staff discounts on clinic services
- Stable working hours (no late nights)
