About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you the kind of person who remembers a familiar face, knows how to keep things running smoothly, and loves being at the heart of a lively, welcoming space? If so, Mamati Ladies Salon might be your next work home. We’re searching for an Arabic-speaking female Receptionist to join us, bringing warmth and professionalism to the first moments of every client’s visit. In an industry where personal touch matters as much as skill, your role will shape the entire salon experience for our guests — and that’s something we take seriously (but with a smile).

About the Company

Mamati Ladies Salon isn’t just a place for beauty transformations — it’s a community hub for women in Khalefa to relax, connect, and leave feeling confident. Our team is a close-knit group who cheer each other on, swap beauty tips over morning coffee, and believe in celebrating achievements (big or small). We’re growing, but we’ve held on to our boutique, personalized approach. Fridays tend to end with laughter and a bit of extra sparkle in the air — and you’ll quickly see why our regulars keep coming back.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Greet every guest with genuine warmth — you’re the friendly face (and voice) of Mamati.
  • Manage appointment bookings and walk-in requests using the Shortcut booking system.
  • Keep our reception area tidy, organized, and inviting at all times.
  • Handle phone inquiries and provide clients with accurate information about services, stylists, and timings.
  • Coordinate with the stylists and technicians to ensure smooth client flow — think gentle reminders, quick problem-solving, and a little magic when schedules get tight.
  • Support with payment processing, daily cash reconciliation, and administrative tasks.
  • Jump in to assist with team projects or events when the salon needs an extra hand.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a reception or customer service role (salon or hospitality experience is a plus).
  • Fluent in Arabic, with strong English communication skills.
  • Confident using computers; experience with the Shortcut booking system is a big advantage.
  • Naturally organized, able to juggle multiple priorities, and stay calm under pressure.
  • Friendly, approachable, and genuinely cares about creating a great experience for clients.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience in a ladies’ salon environment.
  • A knack for resolving tricky situations with grace and positivity.
  • Familiarity with social media or basic marketing tasks.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Supportive, all-female team that celebrates every win — big or small.
  • Opportunities to grow your skills in customer care, beauty services, and tech.
  • Modern workspace in Khalefa, with easy access and a loyal client base.
  • Regular team get-togethers, beauty workshops, and product discounts.
  • Flexible scheduling and understanding management (we know life happens).

At Mamati, you’ll find more than just a job — it’s a place where your energy and personality are truly valued. If you’re ready to bring your sparkle to our front desk, we can’t wait to welcome you!
