About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever find yourself instinctively scanning a construction site for potential hazards—even before your first cup of coffee? If so, you might be the Safety Officer we're hoping to welcome aboard in Al Quoz, Dubai. This isn't just a checklist job; it’s a hands-on role at the heart of our construction projects, where your expertise will directly shape a culture of safety every single day. Here, your keen eye and commitment can make a lasting impact—not only on compliance, but on people’s lives.

About the Company

We're a well-established name in Dubai’s bustling construction sector, embracing both tradition and innovation. Our team is a lively mix of seasoned professionals and up-and-comers who share a genuine passion for building safely and sustainably. Team lunches are a regular occurrence (no pressure, but dessert always disappears first), and we celebrate every milestone—big or small. Safety is a core value, not a buzzword, and we back it up with real action, from management to the guys on the ground.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct thorough site inspections to proactively identify risks and potential hazards
  • Ensure strict compliance with all UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update safety policies and checklists tailored to dynamic site conditions
  • Lead engaging safety inductions and toolbox talks for all site personnel (newcomers and veterans alike)
  • Monitor daily work practices, promptly resolving any safety concerns or violations
  • Prepare detailed incident and near-miss reports, and collaborate on root-cause analyses
  • Stay on top of safety training needs and help coordinate relevant sessions
  • Cultivate positive relationships with site supervisors, workers, and regulatory officers

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably within the construction industry
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification
  • Excellent observation skills and the confidence to speak up about safety concerns
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate diverse teams
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and genuine care for people’s well-being

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous work experience in Al Quoz or the greater Dubai area
  • Fluency in multiple languages (our team is wonderfully multicultural)
  • Familiarity with digital safety management tools or reporting systems

Not sure you match every requirement? No worries—reach out anyway! We welcome curiosity and drive.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package (because your expertise deserves it)
  • Health insurance coverage for you and your family
  • Regular training opportunities to keep your skills sharp
  • Supportive, team-oriented environment where safety really is everyone’s job
  • Clear paths for career advancement as our projects (and your experience) grow
  • Convenient Al Quoz location with easy access and on-site amenities
  • Occasional site team lunches and plenty of good-humored banter

Here, you’re more than just a name on a report—you’re a vital part of our mission to build safely, efficiently, and with pride. If you believe safety is a shared journey, let’s take the next step together.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

You should expect a salary of at least 5,000–8,000 AED per month for a Safety Officer position in Dubai’s construction sector, given the strong demand for NEBOSH/IOSH-certified professionals and the importance of hands-on site safety roles. Candidates with several years of experience or strong knowledge of UAE regulations may see offers on the higher end or above this range, especially in established companies like the one described. Be sure to consider the value of additional benefits such as health insurance and career development opportunities when evaluating your total package.
