About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever pictured yourself making a tangible difference on major construction sites, right in the heart of Dubai’s bustling Business Bay? As our next Safety Officer, you’ll be at the core of our team—ensuring every worker not only gets the job done, but gets home safe, every single day. If you’re passionate about upholding the highest safety standards and believe a proactive approach can prevent tomorrow’s risks, this could just be the next big step in your career.

About the Company

We’re a fast-paced construction company that takes pride in transforming Dubai’s skyline, one project at a time. Our team is a dynamic mix—seasoned site veterans working alongside up-and-comers, all united by a practical, no-nonsense approach to building and innovation. Here, you’ll find Friday morning toolbox talks, managers who actually listen, and a genuine shared responsibility for each other’s safety. As we expand, we’re seeking people who want to be part of something ambitious, but still value camaraderie and an open-door policy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to spot risks before they become problems.
  • Compiling, updating, and implementing workplace safety programs tailored to each project’s needs.
  • Leading engaging staff training sessions on best practices, emergency processes, and new compliance updates.
  • Investigating and reporting on-site accidents or near-misses, identifying root causes, and rolling out preventive measures.
  • Coordinating with engineers, project managers, and all site employees to ensure full buy-in on safety protocols.
  • Maintaining clear documentation—including safety meeting minutes, checklists, and daily site safety reports.
  • Keeping up-to-date with UAE labor and safety regulations, and weaving those requirements seamlessly into daily operations.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Relevant certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent recognized in the UAE).
  • Proven experience working as a Safety Officer, preferably on construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of UAE safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations.
  • Strong observational skills and a knack for guiding people—even when it means having tough conversations.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Good command of Arabic or additional languages.
  • Prior exposure to high-rise, mixed-use, or commercial construction sites in the Gulf.
  • IT-savvy (comfortable with digital safety reporting or mobile inspection apps).

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package, reflecting your experience and impact.
  • Centrally located in Business Bay, with easy access to public transport and top-tier amenities.
  • Inclusive, supportive team culture—your ideas for improvement will always have an audience.
  • Ongoing learning and training opportunities, from workshops to certifications.
  • Modern safety equipment and tech—because your safety is just as important as everyone else’s.
  • Open communication: You’ll never feel like just a number here.

We’re not just building structures; we’re building a place where safety, support, and success go hand-in-hand. If you’re ready to champion a culture of care on Dubai’s landmark projects, we can’t wait to meet you.
