About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself scanning a new workspace and instantly clocking what needs to happen to keep everyone safe? If you’re nodding, you might be the Safety Supervisor we’re looking for. Based in bustling Business Bay, our company is committed not just to ticking the compliance boxes, but to genuinely cultivating a workplace where safety isn’t just a procedure—it’s a shared mindset. Right now, we’re expanding our team with someone who sees beyond the clipboard and understands the real value of keeping our people protected and our projects compliant with every UAE HSE standard.
About the Company
We’re a dynamic business making our mark in the heart of Dubai’s business district, where big ambitions meet a community vibe. Our team comes from all walks of life, but we’re united by a drive: a shared belief that meaningful work happens when employees feel secure and supported. Mornings start with strong coffee and end with even stronger collaboration—don’t be surprised if “safety first” turns into “teamwork always.” Growth is more than just a KPI for us; it’s something we live daily, both as a company and as individuals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Rolling out, monitoring, and improving our HSE policies and procedures based on the latest UAE safety regulations and what actually works on-the-ground.
- Conducting routine safety inspections and on-site risk assessments—sometimes with a hard hat, often with a smile.
- Leading safety training sessions and engaging toolbox talks, making sure your colleagues leave smarter (and a bit more safety-savvy) every time.
- Promptly investigating incidents and accidents, turning lessons learned into actionable improvements team-wide.
- Collaborating closely with management, operations, and individual teams to ensure everyone’s on the same page when it comes to HSE.
- Keeping detailed documentation—yes, the paperwork matters—and reporting on safety performance and compliance.
- Acting as a friendly point of contact for any employee with HSE questions or concerns.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in a safety supervisor or HSE-related role, ideally in the UAE.
- Familiarity with UAE HSE standards and a solid track record of successful policy implementation.
- Excellent communication skills—with the confidence to lead safety talks and the empathy to connect with staff at every level.
- Strong investigative skills with attention to detail (because sometimes the smallest thing can make the biggest difference).
- The ability to work on-site in Business Bay.
Nice-to-Haves:
- HSE or NEBOSH certification (or similar)—bonus points if you’ve got both.
- Prior experience in construction, real estate, or facilities management.
- Arabic language skills.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary and allowances—plus annual bonuses.
- Health insurance for peace of mind.
- Regular professional development workshops (safety and beyond).
- A culture that encourages suggestions and values your voice—we genuinely want to do better, every day.
- Open-door management style and a spirit of camaraderie.
- Modern, well-equipped office in the heart of Business Bay, with on-site facilities and great lunch spots nearby.
- Flexible hours and occasional remote work options.
Here, you’ll contribute to a workplace where people look out for each other, and your expertise will actually shape the future of safety for the whole team. If you thrive on both responsibility and teamwork, you’ll feel right at home.
