About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you someone who lights up at the prospect of helping customers transform their spaces with the perfect furniture? As a Sales Executive specializing in furniture sales, you’ll have the chance to put your expertise and people skills to good use — every single day. With every conversation, you’re not just selling a sofa or dining set; you’re helping people create homes and offices they’ll love. If you thrive in a fast-paced sales environment where no two days look quite the same, this could be your ideal next move.

About the Company

Step into a company where relationships matter just as much as results. We’re a close-knit, growing team that genuinely cares about both customers and colleagues. Monday mornings mean catching up over coffee, and Friday afternoons often wind down with stories about the projects and people we’ve served that week. Our showroom is more than a place to browse — it’s where creativity meets exceptional service, and where every team member’s input shapes our collective success. Here, your growth is personal to us.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming customers into our showroom and quickly putting them at ease with your friendly, attentive approach
  • Listening carefully to understand clients' needs, lifestyle, and preferences — and offering practical recommendations to match
  • Explaining product materials, features, and benefits clearly (sometimes even getting a little geeky about lumbar support or sustainable wood finishes)
  • Preparing quotes, negotiating terms, and guiding customers through the buying process from first handshake to follow-up
  • Managing orders, coordinating delivery timelines, and ensuring a seamless after-sales experience
  • Hitting sales targets, but also celebrating the wins as a team
  • Staying up to date with design trends, new arrivals, and competitor offerings in the furniture market

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience in furniture sales (you know your sectionals from your credenzas)
  • Strong communication skills — both in explaining products and listening to what customers really want
  • Confident negotiation abilities and a genuine knack for closing deals
  • Customer-focused approach with a dedication to exceeding expectations
  • Professional attitude, punctuality, and reliability — especially when things get busy
  • Ability to keep your cool and maintain positivity under pressure

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with POS systems or CRM tools
  • A sharp eye for interior design or visual merchandising
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and clear commission structure — we want you to feel rewarded for your hard work
  • Ongoing training in both sales and product knowledge (plus a chance to nerd out over the latest ergonomic office chairs)
  • Supportive, welcoming team that genuinely collaborates and celebrates success
  • Modern, airy showroom you’ll be proud to work in, with plenty of natural light and steady customer traffic
  • Employee discounts on our entire range — perfect for upgrading your own home
  • Room to grow within the company as we expand into new locations and categories

At the end of the day, we’re passionate about bringing out the best in every employee — and making sure “going to work” means something more than just showing up. If you believe great sales is about building relationships, not just transactions, you’ll fit right in here.
