About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it’s like to shape the financial backbone of a growing company? As our new Senior Accountant, you’ll do just that — steering the numbers, guiding compliance, and partnering with leadership to set us up for long-term success. This is more than routine bookkeeping; it’s your chance to drive impact and help us navigate the ever-evolving world of corporate tax and financial strategy in the UAE.

About the Company

We’re Technical Roads Tile Work — a passionate, tight-knit team dedicated to delivering quality and innovation in every project we touch. While our roots are in construction and tile work, our ambitions reach further. We thrive on collaboration, celebrate small wins (and big ones), and believe that Friday afternoons are best spent sharing updates and a few good laughs. Our growth mindset keeps us agile in a changing market, and we’re excited to bring a finance leader into our fold as we level up.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all financial transactions.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports — your insights will guide business decisions.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE financial regulations and up-to-date corporate tax requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to optimize financial workflows.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, keeping our practices modern and effective.
  • Support ad hoc projects or analysis — because sometimes, the unexpected brings the most growth.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, with strong exposure to local corporate tax laws.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive when it comes to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable leading a small team and juggling multiple priorities.
  • Clear, effective communicator in both written and spoken English.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) or progress towards one.
  • Experience in the construction or contracting sector.
  • Familiarity with accounting software relevant to UAE businesses.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive, timely salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Supportive, collaborative culture where your input genuinely matters.
  • Opportunities to grow your skill set as we expand and diversify.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge industry practices and regulatory changes.
  • Convenient office location at 502, with opportunities for onsite learning.
  • The chance to be at the heart of decision-making, not just another cog in the wheel.

We believe work should offer more than just a paycheck. Here, you’ll find a team that values your expertise, celebrates your wins, and has your back — every step of the way.
