About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Curious about what it’s like to see a project come to life from the very ground up? As our new Site Engineer at Al Quoz, you’ll do just that—taking plans off the page and making them a reality, one day (and one solved problem) at a time. We’re searching for a well-organized, adaptable leader who’s eager to grow with our forward-thinking team in Dubai. If you thrive in dynamic environments where no two days are quite the same, you might find just what you’re looking for right here.
About the Company
You’ll be joining an established yet ambitious construction company based in the heart of Al Quoz, where collaboration and grit are more than just buzzwords—they’re part of our daily routine. Our team is diverse, hands-on, and deeply invested in setting new standards for quality and safety in every project we take on. We’re big on knowledge-sharing (Friday morning coffee catchups tend to become impromptu brainstorming sessions) and believe the best ideas can come from anywhere in the company.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily onsite operations for various construction projects, ensuring that everything stays on track, on spec, and on time.
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating crew members—building genuine team spirit along the way.
- Preparing detailed estimates for resources, timeframes, and material usage to support project planning and budgets.
- Monitoring the quality of all work performed; conducting site inspections and ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Enforcing strict health and safety protocols, acting as a role model for safety-first behaviors on site.
- Compiling accurate site reports and communicating progress, delays, or issues to upper management and stakeholders.
- Liaising with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers when required—sometimes all in one afternoon.
- Using problem-solving skills to tackle unexpected site challenges (let’s face it, there’s always at least one curveball per project).
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant site engineering experience, ideally in the UAE or a comparable market.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills—people trust and follow your lead.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, quality assurance, and health & safety standards.

- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with project management software.
Nice-to-Haves
- UAE driving license.
- Previous experience working on mid- to large-scale commercial projects.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
