What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring joinery and carpentry works are progressing safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret technical drawings — from initial plans to final shop drawings — and translate them into actionable steps for your team
- Take precise site measurements, double-checking details to prevent costly errors down the line
- Coordinate closely with site workers, keeping spirits high and timelines on track
- Liaise with material suppliers to ensure deliveries meet project requirements — no last-minute scrambling for missing parts
- Work hand-in-hand with contractors and other trades, smoothing out any onsite hiccups before they become headaches
- Monitor site safety and quality standards, because shortcuts have no place on your watch
- Track progress and keep supervisors in the loop, sharing updates and flagging any issues early
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years of hands-on site experience in joinery or carpentry environments within the UAE
- Valid UAE Driver’s License (you’ll be on the move between sites and suppliers)
- Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
- Proven skill in taking accurate, reliable site measurements
- Strong communication and leadership abilities — your crew looks to you for guidance
