About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ready to Roll Up Your Sleeves in Dubai?

Here’s an opportunity for skilled technicians and hardworking workers who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty and take pride in a job well done. Whether you’re an ace with AC systems, a whiz with wires, handy with a wrench, or a master with your hands, we’re looking for reliable professionals for immediate direct hire in the heart of Al Quoz. Want to work where your expertise is truly valued? You just might find your next home with us.

About the Company

Our team thrives in the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of facilities management and fit-outs in Dubai. We’re a group of problem-solvers, tool lovers, and solution-seekers who know the value of teamwork — especially when the pressure’s on. You’ll find us swapping tips and sharing laughs even on the busiest site days, and we never let solid work go unnoticed. Fridays bring out friendly banter and sometimes some legendary samosas in the breakroom.

We’re growing and need people ready to jump in and build their future (and a few walls, ceilings, or cool new features) right alongside us.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Diagnosing and repairing AC units, from split systems to multi-ton chillers
  • Handling electrical installations, troubleshooting, and safe repairs for various sites
  • Fixing leaks, installing pipelines, and managing plumbing systems with a neat finish
  • Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood or metal as a carpenter — think partitions, cabinets, and fit-outs
  • Bringing precision to welding tasks, from frame repairs to structural joints
  • Supporting senior tradesmen as a general helper; you’ll be moving materials, maintaining tools, and learning new tricks of the trade every day
  • Liaising with supervisors and teammates to ensure each job is safe, tidy, and up to UAE standards
  • Keeping a sharp eye on safety, because we all want to go home in one piece

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 1–2 years’ hands-on experience in your chosen trade
  • Currently inside the UAE (ready to join immediately)
  • Willingness to pitch in, work hard, and help your teammates
  • Basic English for site communication and safety instructions
  • Respect for safety rules (we take them seriously)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience working in Dubai or with multinational teams
  • Trade certifications or vocational diplomas
  • Keen attention to detail — a crooked pipe or wobbly shelf just won’t do
  • Can-do attitude and resourcefulness when things don’t go as planned

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package: AED 2800 – 3500, depending on your skills and experience
  • Benefits as per UAE labor law (overtime, end-of-service, annual leave, and more)
  • Immediate hiring — no long waits or endless interview rounds
  • Friendly, hardworking crew who’ll help you settle in
  • Opportunities to learn new skills and step up to higher roles as you prove yourself
  • Centrally located in Al Quoz — easy connections to major transport routes

We know good work deserves respect and fair treatment. If you’re ready to build something solid and seize your opportunity, we’re looking forward to meeting you.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk us through how you would troubleshoot and diagnose a problem with a split AC unit that’s not cooling properly?
  • Describe your experience working with electrical installations and what safety steps you always take before starting a repair.
  • Tell us about a time when you were asked to quickly fix a plumbing leak under pressure. What steps did you take to resolve the issue and ensure it was safe and tidy?
  • In your previous roles, have you ever fabricated or installed metal or wood structures, like partitions or cabinets? What tools and techniques did you use to ensure accuracy?
  • What’s your process for double-checking your work — for instance, making sure a pipe isn’t crooked or a welded frame is secure?
  • How do you prioritize tasks when supporting senior tradesmen on a busy site with multiple urgent requests coming in?
  • Give an example of a situation where something unexpected happened on site, such as a tool breaking or a material shortage. How did you handle it and keep the team moving forward?
  • How have you helped a teammate or a new worker settle in and feel comfortable and productive on the job?
  • Describe a time when you communicated a safety concern to your supervisor or team. How was your input received, and what was the outcome?
  • What motivates you to consistently do quality work, even on long or physically demanding days?
  • How do you make sure you follow instructions accurately when language or cultural differences come into play on a diverse team?
  • Have you ever worked in a fast-paced environment like Dubai before? How did you adjust to the unique challenges of the city’s work sites?
  • What excites you most about joining a company that values both hard work and camaraderie among teammates?
  • How do you handle constructive feedback, especially when you’re still learning new skills or trades?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

The offered salary range of AED 2,800 to 3,500 reflects typical starting compensation for technician and skilled worker roles in Dubai’s facilities management and fit-out sector. This package is common for hands-on positions, especially for candidates with 1–2 years of experience, and it comes with the added benefit of growth opportunities and standard UAE labor law entitlements. For those looking to build their skills and advance within an expanding team, this role provides a solid first step and a supportive work environment.
