What You’ll Be Doing
- Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to carry out installations and repairs safely and accurately.
- Performing skilled trade tasks (electrical, plumbing, welding, or pipe fitting) in line with industry and company standards.
- Troubleshooting issues on-site, diagnosing faults, and recommending effective solutions independently.
- Working hands-on with a diverse team, sharing knowledge and learning new techniques along the way.
- Maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring safety measures are always in place before, during, and after every job.
- Collaborating with supervisors and engineers, offering input to streamline processes and minimize downtime.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in your trade (Electrician, Plumber, Welder, or Pipe Fitter)—GCC experience is a definite plus.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, layouts, and project specifications.
- Strong work ethic with a knack for working independently and under minimal supervision.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and timelines.
- Clear and practical communication skills in English (bonus points for other languages!).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in the Abu Dhabi or wider UAE industrial or construction sector.
- Trade certifications or relevant technical diplomas.
- Adaptability to new tools, materials, or site requirements.
