What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the end-to-end design of solar PV systems, from site surveys to final execution
- Creating detailed electrical designs, single-line diagrams, and system layouts tailored to each unique project
- Engineering and integrating battery storage and off-grid solutions to maximize project performance
- Collaborating closely with team members and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery—no siloed work here!
- Overseeing project execution on-site, troubleshooting installations, and ensuring quality standards are met every step of the way
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry best practices and sharing your learnings in our regular team sessions
- Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, reports, and proposals for clients and stakeholders
- Offering technical input during client consultations and helping to set realistic expectations
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in the solar industry (PV design, electrical design, battery storage, and off-grid systems)
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a closely related field
- Advanced skills in solar PV system design software (such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Strong command of electrical design principles and standards within the solar sector
- Currently based in Mohammed Bin and ready for site travel when needed
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with hybrid solar systems integration
- Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes
- Excellent communication skills—you can explain tech to non-techies
- Past experience with project management or leading small teams
