About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to lead a team that brings massive steel structures to life, piece by colossal piece? We're looking for a Steel Structural Site Foreman who knows the ins and outs of fabrication and erection—not just from a distance, but from the thick of the action. If you thrive on building something that stands solid for years and can turn complex engineering drawings into reality, this could be your next big move in Abu Dhabi’s ever-growing construction scene.
About the Company
When people talk about robust skylines and iconic infrastructure in Abu Dhabi, our company’s name tends to crop up. We’ve carved a niche in the steel structural industry, marrying old-school craftsmanship with modern construction technology. The team here is seasoned, supportive, and—let’s be honest—pretty passionate about seeing steel transform into world-class structures. Fridays often bring lively debates over the best welding techniques, and our site managers are known for their “lead from the front” mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the fabrication and erection team through every stage, from initial cutting to final bolt-down, ensuring work meets high standards and deadlines.
- Interpreting and explaining complex engineering drawings with confidence—making sure everyone on site understands the day’s objectives.
- Coordinating with project engineers and site supervisors to keep operations smooth, safe, and efficient.
- Monitoring on-site safety practices and doing your part to foster a culture where everyone looks out for each other.
- Overseeing the set-up of tools and machinery, troubleshooting as needed, and keeping everything ticking.
- Handling documentation related to work progress, team attendance, and incident reports.
- Providing hands-on guidance, mentoring, and support to team members—especially those newer to the industry.
- Keeping communication clear and professional, especially when English is the shared language across a diverse, multi-national crew.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven site experience in steel structure fabrication and erection (no rookies here—you’ve been around the beams and bolts).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (you spot details others might miss).
- Natural leadership skills, able to motivate and manage a diverse team from start to finish.
- Fluent spoken and written English; you’re comfortable issuing instructions and solving problems in real time.
- Ready to join without delay—immediate starters are our ideal fit.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience working in Abu Dhabi or the Gulf region.
- Familiarity with regional safety regulations and best practices.
- Comfort with digital reporting tools or site management apps.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary ranging from AED 2,500 to AED 3,000, paid on time every month.
- Opportunities to work on major, career-defining steel projects in Abu Dhabi.
- Supportive management that understands life on site—and values your input.
- A team spirit that makes early mornings and long days a bit lighter.
- Exposure to cutting-edge construction methods and ongoing learning.
- Work with skilled professionals from various backgrounds (chances are, you'll learn something new every week).
Here, it’s not just about getting the job done—it’s about pride in what you build, and the people you build it with. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and lead from day one, let’s talk.
