About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever caught yourself thinking, “How does that roadside tea stall always get the chai just right?” If you know the secret behind the perfect cup—especially Karak or black tea—and love crafting a sandwich that’s as satisfying as it looks, this could be the next adventure on your career menu. We’re a freshly minted startup, ready to bring authentic flavors and consistent quality to our community, and we’re searching for people who love the rhythm of a busy shop just as much as the art of great food and drink.
About the Company
We're not just starting a business—we're building a welcoming corner where tea means connection, and every sandwich tells a story. Our team is small, passionate, and just a little obsessed with getting the little details right (like the exact golden-brown toast on a morning sandwich or the spiced aroma of classic Karak). Flexibility is in our DNA, but so is pride: keeping our workspace tidy and our service friendly even when we’re in the weeds is what makes us, well, us. Expect plenty of energy, a chance to shape our culture from the ground up, and maybe an after-hours cuppa shared among the crew.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Brewing Karak tea, black tea, and other hot beverages to consistent quality standards—knowing just when it’s strong enough, and always aromatic.
- Preparing a variety of sandwiches (hot and cold), ensuring every order is fresh, neat, and picture-perfect.
- Maintaining a sparkling-clean and well-organized workstation throughout your shift so everything is ready at arm’s reach.
- Managing orders and delivering friendly, efficient service—even when there’s a line out the door.
- Checking that all drinks and food meet our brand’s presentation (and taste!) standards every single time.
- Restocking supplies and ingredients, communicating low stock or issues to the team.
- Collaborating with teammates to keep things running smoothly, and stepping up to help wherever needed.
- Following hygiene and safety protocols—because we care about every customer’s experience, from first sip to last bite.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Hands-on experience brewing traditional teas (especially Karak and classic black tea).

- Previous experience in a café, tea shop, or busy food service environment.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
