What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting callers with warmth and professionalism, always aiming for a memorable first impression
- Efficiently handling a high volume of incoming calls—from room service requests to sightseeing recommendations
- Transferring calls smoothly to the right department or staff member, never leaving a guest on hold for long
- Assisting guests with inquiries—from Wi-Fi passwords to directions around the city, no question is too big or small
- Logging important messages and requests with accuracy, making sure nothing slips through the cracks
- Staying calm and collected in busy moments, always projecting a calm, pleasant tone (even when you’re multi-tasking)
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve guest needs quickly and thoroughly
- Maintaining the highest confidentiality, respecting our guests’ privacy at all times
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Good spoken English and clear, confident communication skills
- A naturally pleasant voice and warm manner over the phone
- Confidence handling multiple lines, and patience with guest requests
- A readiness to work various shifts, as required by hotel operations
- A service-oriented approach—‘happy to help’ is your default setting!
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in a hotel environment or as a telephone operator
- Familiarity with hotel phone systems or guest service routines
- Additional language skills, especially Arabic or other widely spoken languages in Dubai
