About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself being the friendly face (and voice) that brightens someone’s day? We’re on the hunt for a Receptionist who thrives on warm welcomes and smooth, professional service — right in the heart of Business Bay, Dubai. If you love being that touchpoint that makes every guest and caller feel like a priority, this could be the perfect environment for you. Here’s your chance to play a key role in a dynamic workplace where every day brings new faces and conversations.
About the Company
Nestled among the energy and skyline of Business Bay, our mid-sized team shares a genuine commitment to both professionalism and personal connection. Around here, collaboration matters — we chat over fresh coffee (the Nespresso machine is almost as popular as our CEO), and even the busiest days end with laughter at reception. We pride ourselves on a culture that celebrates reliability, positive attitudes, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves, whether you're supporting meeting prep or organizing a spontaneous lunch for the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting visitors and clients with a smile, assisting them with sign-in and making them feel at home from the first hello
- Managing multi-line phone systems: answering, directing calls, and taking clear, accurate messages
- Coordinating front office calendars, appointments, and meeting rooms — think of yourself as the command center of the office flow
- Accepting and organizing deliveries so nothing goes missing (not even someone’s favorite Amazon package)
- Keeping the reception and waiting areas neat, welcoming, and well-supplied
- Supporting administrative tasks: printing, scanning, and document prep as needed
- Collaborating with colleagues to tackle occasional projects or events (like those quarterly town halls everyone actually wants to attend)
- Acting as a resource for visiting clients, helping with directions, transport bookings, or any special requests
What You’ll Bring
- A genuinely friendly, professional demeanor — people trust and remember you
- Strong communication skills, both in person and on the phone (clear, courteous, and efficient)
- Previous front desk or customer service experience
- Comfort with basic office tech — think MS Office, Google Workspace, printers, and the usual reception toolkit
- Excellent time management and an ability to handle the ebb and flow of busy days
- (Must-Have) Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus but not required)
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Monthly salary of AED 2,500–4,500, based on experience
- Office location right in Business Bay — ideal for easy access and an after-work stroll along the canal
- Supportive, welcoming team who value your contribution and have your back
- Regular learning opportunities and a chance to get involved in wider business ops
- Coffee, treats, and a shared sense of humor (pranks optional, but everyone loves a good birthday surprise)
- Stable working hours — and yes, we actually respect your time off
You’ll walk in every morning knowing you’re helping shape the first impression of a company that genuinely values its people—employees and visitors alike. If you’re ready to be a cornerstone of positive office culture, we’d love to meet you.
