About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it takes to transform an empty space into something truly stunning, piece by piece? As a Tile Mason with our team in Al Quoz 4, you’ll get to do just that—every single day. We’re searching for someone who believes that beauty is in the details, and who takes as much pride in seamless grout lines as in the spectacular finished product. This is hands-on work with real impact, in a part of Dubai that’s buzzing with growth and possibility.
About the Company
We’re a close-knit construction and interiors group with roots right here in the GCC. Our workshop might be in Al Quoz, but our projects stretch across Dubai—luxury villas, bustling malls, creative commercial spaces, and occasionally, something a little out of the ordinary. We believe in supporting our crew, sharing a laugh on site (even in the heat!), and challenging ourselves to achieve finishes that truly stand out. Fridays often end with a team karak, and on milestone projects, well, don’t be surprised if there’s a little celebratory meal.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Precisely installing a variety of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, large formats, and more) on floors and walls, making sure every line is sharp.
- Carefully measuring and cutting tiles—yes, those unconventional corners too—for perfect fits and custom-designed patterns.
- Preparing and leveling surfaces, using your eye for detail and your hands-on experience to ensure a strong base for every tile.
- Mixing and applying mortar, adhesives, grout, and sometimes sealants—all with consistency and care for long-lasting results.
- Collaborating closely with site supervisors, other trades, and sometimes clients, keeping communication open and the work flowing.
- Repairing and refitting tiles as needed on renovation or maintenance jobs, treating every patch-up like it’s your own home.
- Working safely and efficiently, keeping your space tidy even when things (and weather) get hectic on site.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 2–5 years’ experience as a Tile Mason in the UAE or wider GCC—you know the rhythms (and realities) of construction here.
- Strong skills with a wide range of tile materials, from classic ceramics to tricky large-slab marble.
- Proven ability to measure, cut, and install intricate patterns and specialty layouts—precision is your trademark.
- Physical stamina and a positive attitude; unafraid of working on your feet, outside, and in lively site conditions.
- Keen eye for finishing, with a drive to leave every job looking as sharp as possible.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
